Aarghh, just noticed a dent on the front of my copy which came in the mail - going to return this unless they have a special accommodation for damaged copies??

Yeah, unless they have any in store, that's your only hope for an exchange, but seems like from all reports that it was sold out quickly.

Still space in my group buy.

It looks like the BB USA version. All it says is Exclusive Lenticular.

The seller created a Lenticular Magnet and slapped it on the front of the Steelbook. If you look at the side picture you can see the unevenness of the US packaging and the upside down spine

Homemade flipper lenticular + standard BB US steelbook apparently equals an item people will pay more for than a legal, professionally made premium steelbook + slip cover. Fox could easily sue the pants off this eBay seller. It's illegal to print images of copyrighted characters and movies, even for personal use. Selling for personal profit is even more illegal. Of course, whether Fox cares enough to sue a small eBay seller (or even send a cease and desist letter) is another matter...the movie companies are usually busier persecuting bittorrent users who download their movies.

Very, very risky game to play though, when you alter someone else's IP.

Leave it exactly the way it came to you (unopened & sealed) then there is no issue...
