So getting a hard box you will never be able to see your steels unless you remove the seal and the value drops. I guess we will just have to admire the WEA Box.

From a personal standpoint buying any kind of media purely for its' investment value is to completely ignore its primary purpose.
It is akin to buying a Lamborghini and never driving it for fear that you will devalue it . Seems quite preposterous to my mind. But each to their own . . . .

@Hamill82 That top corner of the Arnie Box looks really very rough indeed :(

Despite a couple of missteps (uninspired pose on the lenti and the blurb on the back of the full slip--which I think would've been perfect as a tagline, but hits a bit off key for the character), I think this release looks pretty sharp. FA had the unenviable fate of following two hotly sought releases, so all the pressure and hype were bound to leave a few disappointed.

That said, I think the lenti is going to be killer when it rolls out. The bright colors and clear lines of demarcation for the depth layers all point toward a fantastic lenticular image. And FAC full slips are always a dream in hand.

Thanks that is really unfortunate for me as now im gonna have to track down the single edtions of the ones I have in hard boxes so they match the rest of the my film arena collection.

Well I think even those of us who have been disappointed - and there are quite a few - are hoping for the best when they finally arrive. Frankly, if the full-slip had had a better quote on the back, and maybe some holofoil to the title or something to make it fizz, it would have made all the difference -
Maybe the lenti slip sparks up when you actually see it - it IS bright and has the potential to be something; but static it looks very tame indeed.

For me though, there was a lot of potential which was lost with all the three releases: Kimchi, Manta and FAC - as has been pointed out, likely due to Fox putting the dampers on things as much as anything . . .

Anyhow, we live in hope . . . :)

I think FAC needs to change the font of that numbering system on the box set spine... that serif font just ... yike for me...

Definitely an eyesore. But perhaps make the change at a number that then still looks good on the shelf for those who are collecting all. ie. 10. First 10 match, then new number logo on next 10 etc. But if you collecting them all like that ...... yall some ballers.

I'll never understand anyone who buys all the releases from one company just to have a "complete collection" from that company. Spending $60 - $160 for a movie you don't like just for the sake of continuity in a collection is nuts.
(And there is no way a person likes every release by any company! Hell, my X-Men collection will forever have a hole in it, because there is no way I'm putting Brett Ratner's dogsh!t Last Stand in there!)
I just wish FA had made the number a removeable one, for those who either A) don't want that on the side for aesthetic purposes or B) don't collect all of them.

The box is worth money just on its own! I reckon it could fetch a few bucks just auctioning the box as its the rarest of the three, and most agree the best dynamic artwork. Man FAC why couldn't just put that artwork on the FS.......:confused:

It's the completionists that drives the prices up my friend!!! :D:thumbs:
Without those type of collectors a lot of FAC steels would not generate so much value. I mean the Seventh Son, never even heard of the movie, bad reviews and yet fetches silly dollars simply because it is 'rare' and most want to have a 'complete' collection. The movie has zero interests in me. Wolverines BB, average movie, nothing special going for silly prices. Like I said thanks to the completionists  We shouldn't complain!
