Zavvi don’t have a pre order price guarantee as in they don’t automatically apply a price drop to a pre order.
You have to contact them to get a refund of price difference.
If price drops before release date best to cancel and re-order as contacting customer service not worth the hassle to try get a refund.
The price is unlikely to drop on Zavvi before release date but might a few months after release date if stock still available.
It’s sold out with Zavvi at the moment but as usual might be back available after release date due to customer cancellations or payment issues.

Had this dispatched from zavvi but not the deadpool edition even though I bought them both the same time.
Hmv charged me for both too. I really hope these are glossy, or at least spot gloss, and for the love of god let them be DV like the US. It'd be just like Disney to double shaft us in the UK.
The DV grade is an additional hdr layer, it isn't embedded into a master. EU discs are encoded differently to the US to allow for different language tracks, same can apply for DV.
Usually I'd agree, and say it'd be the same, but I get the feeling Disney are only doing this now under Sony's influence, who handle their US distribution, and we've only seen the logos on the US discs and packaging thus far.
Elevation "silently" handle Disney's distribution here now, so without the same influence we don't necessarily get the same products. It's hopefully just the cynic talking, but we'll have to wait and see until it's in hand.
I am hoping for dv also. BR.com have the UK version listed as having Dolby Vision but I am not sure if that means it will 100%
It doesn't mean it will, because nobody has it in hand to confirm yet, and it's not listed on the back of the amaray mockup. It's just ported over from the US listing. Hopefully it will, guess we'll find out in a few days.
From a listing on Vinted, no idea how they got it so early if it’s genuine but no mention of Dolby Vision.
Yeah, that's the same as the mockup that's been online for ages. There was no dv logo there either, which is what set the initial doubt in.
There have been plenty of releases that are dv and don't say it on the back though, so it doesn't mean anything definitive at this stage tbh.
Disney just use the same base template for everything. They've even left the atmos logo on for films without it, so I don't particularly trust it's reflective.
That looks absolutely awesome. Spot gloss on everything that isn't white, actual white colouring, and an embossed rear!
Yeah that’s absolutely awesome. Defo spot gloss and actual white! Was not expecting embossing on the back either! I think this smokes the US and for a fraction of the price lol
