I like consistency of design across a series but this is just a bit ridiculous. At first glance I thought it was exactly the same.

true but it can't get any more consistent than this and anymore boring, its really just the same as Die Hard which imo is extremely lazy

I think its the only Die Hard sequel to even start to compare to the first.

John is alone. All the cops hate him apart from Al Powell. He is trying to save a group of innocents in danger, one of which is his wife. Its Christmas Eve.

That small list of statements could be used for both Die Hard 1 and 2 but none of the others. Die Hard 2 is personally my 2nd favorite of the series (Die Hard 1 is not only my favorite of the series but is my all time favorite film).

Totally agree with all of this. 2nd film was a worthy sequel, and that's saying a lot.

I have the Die Hard Trilogy DVD Box Set which are digi packs and are all quite consistent but are still different and I think each of them would look really nice on steelbook, I'l post some pictures, they are kind of like Growly's but have a dark background, Die Hard 2 has the plane and background though

yeah these are nice i have all four, ive been thinking about putting my blurays in them. if these new steelbooks had kept this art, i would have bought them

Zavvi didn't release Vengeance. They simply sold Play.com's remaining stock.

That steel wasn't even worth the ink they printed on the front or back. One of the laziest, cheapest, least loved steelbooks ever, right alongside The Rock and Armageddon, deservedly so.

It's not Zavvi. It's the already used artwork from the 25th Anniversary Digipack set.

Recognize the first 2 images here? It's the same as the steelbook covers.

yeah whoever originally designed the backs of these needs to do a bit of research about guns/ammo etc. the backs of these are laughable.
