i finally received my steelbook yesterday... now im wondering if there actually are any copies out there that do not have that popping effect on the front cover. i guess its senseless trying to get another copy, hm?

Mine arrived like that, and judging from the comments in this thread, as did others...

Quite a flimsy steel IMO(with a very nice cover), doubtful the replacement would be any different.

It's just the embossing on this release. They'll all be identical.

They will all be the same, it's just the nature of embossed/debossed steels. They can have weak spots.

Has anyone else's copy got the print slightly mis-aligned with the embossing/debossing? It looks too out of line to be a drop shadow effect, especially as there's a big line down the left hand side by the border.

They are for display purposes, not for playing squash with so a little bit of flexing is fine. Just enjoy them for what they are and the pleasure they give...

Dont know if anyone else is having this problem but when my Django arrived i put the disc in and in the opening credits where the larger text appears, around half way into the title sequence you can see that there is really bad compression of the print as in between letters appears to be motion blur... Also later i the film where the text "Mississsppi" rolls across the screen, that too has extreamly bad motion blur and wobbles like a drunk is holding my tv

There are several other places throughout the film as well... Because of this i went into my local HMV and bought a new one woth the intention of then getting a refund on my amazon order but i have then noticed that the new one i bought also has this problem so it wasnt just mu diac and i have to now keep my original one as well

Anyone else noticing this?
