Dont know if anyone else is having this problem but when my Django arrived i put the disc in and in the opening credits where the larger text appears, around half way into the title sequence you can see that there is really bad compression of the print as in between letters appears to be motion blur... Also later i the film where the text "Mississsppi" rolls across the screen, that too has extreamly bad motion blur and wobbles like a drunk is holding my tv

There are several other places throughout the film as well... Because of this i went into my local HMV and bought a new one woth the intention of then getting a refund on my amazon order but i have then noticed that the new one i bought also has this problem so it wasnt just mu diac and i have to now keep my original one as well

Anyone else noticing this?

have you tried the disc in more than one blu ray player and is your firmware up to date

Received this today from sainsburys. Looks really nice and the front does pop like all others but still very happy. Was very impressed with sainsburys packaging. Was expecting a flimsy thin cardboard envelope so was worried but it arrived in double walled packaging that is different to what they send basic blu-rays/CDs in. My first steelbook from sainsburys so this might be standard but will be happy to buy more from there now and can use my nectar points.

this is more to do with the tv , rather than the blu ray player, i suspect. this type of motion blur as described in the 'mississippi' title scene usually occurs in scenes showing dark images against very pale/white scenes. no problem with your equipment/blu ray disc in my opinion, but others may disagree.

Just got the last copy left at HMV for £15.99. Great looking steel but it is a bit flimsy, lovely embossing and overall an amazing steelbook.

Just picked up a nice fresh and minty copy from HMV in Staines for £15.99.

Very nice looking steel. Wasnt going to go for this as the pics online before release did not do it justice.

Just received my copy today. Here is the breakdown:

40+ steelbooks personally inspected in store at Target for the US version ---> 0 mint steelbooks found

1 single steelbook ordered from Amazon.UK ----> 1 perfectly mint steelbook received.

i think all of them have it due to the embossing , my copy from italy has it too
