yes true and a few of them came over here saying they did not want to chance missing out and how they felt bad towards kevin lol, obviously not that bad :hilarious:
so that has not helped either i would suggest those that have missed out return the favour for there own collection.
bet it be bloodbath over there too.

@Wreck @cooey
shame being a premium member here doesn't entitle access to a gb early like an hdn vip as a thought bet you see more premium members then also, which would help fund the site.

at least that way people who use this site on a regular basis and don't just turn up for a gb every so often and dont get involved.
I think personally its cheeky and taking away from real members here that could not get one, but thats my honest opionon.

all the best

Things are being looked into

Agree and not agree.

Agree for the passion into collecting.

Not agree because there's so many scalpers who took the copy because it's so limited, so a lot of REAL COLLECTOR can't grab a copy because sold out too fast.

I will always hate those people who buy just to resell.

What makes a "REAL" collector then?

Someone who collects every single blufans release? Someone who collects every single blufans marvel release?

Do you hate people who buy the one click of release to secure the two that were bound to be harder to obtain then sell the box and quarter slip? Cause there is a big market for quarter slip collectors who a, can't buy it solo or b, can't afford to buy a box to get one edition exclusive to it

I'm totally agree with all that said above about "grab and run" people who buy only for resell. But small numbers of posts doesn't mean that i'm or someone else waiting for GB in shadows and then suddenly appear right before it.
I'm reading forums all the time, but my knowledge of english language is pretty poor. That's why i'm not involving into many discussions, just not to spoil it with my gibberish.
Thanks to @cooey and @Wreck for all the hard work!

No, no. I don't talk about just Blufans. I talk about all the premiums releases (Kimchi, filmarena, Hdzeta). The scalpers who bought them JUST for sell. No passion, just thinking about making money. That's what i hate.

There will always be bitterness from people who were unfortunate to miss out or decided to late to try and get a copy in a group buy. People lash out at others pointing fingers and slating resellers but the reality is even if all 2000 copies went to collectors, there will still be a ton of collectors worldwide who missed out.

There is always bound to be disappointment with 2000 released.

And if all copies went to real collectors who keep theirs, the ones who missed out will never have a chance to buy it on the secondary market. :p
(I'm not trying to protect the scalpers/stock movers)
But they are having a hard time anyway with the oversaturated market.

Collecting steelbooks or any other collectible is a very expensive habit(s) that we engage in. Some of us use the collectible factor of these things to fund current and future purchases, thereby negating some of the costs they would incur. They are collectors too who fund their hobby in a different way. While I may not be be happy / agree with them having multiples, it is not my place to tell them how to use their own moneys and they themselves bear the risks of moving the product on. So for me, these so called scalpers are real collectors too. Many of us engage in some kind of reselling either to make room, something better came along and one is no longer required or fund something else. The very nature of something being collectible means that there will always be a secondary market for it. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I guess I am one of the ones you talk about. My last two Gb's were civil war and Dr strange. I would have been involved in John Wick 2 but I realised too late the format had been changed.

On one hand it does seem unfair that occasional buyers like me might take a copy from a loyal regular. But at the same time buyers like me are not taking part in many of the other GB's. I'm neither a hardcore collector or a scalper.

Maybe one way to try and address this is to only let occasional purchasers like me to buy one copy. Then again that would not have helped with Dr Strange so probably not a good idea.

He was talking about a perk for being a paid premium member, Then it wouldn't matter how many GB's you were involved in

I upgraded to premium member over a year ago (still haven't got my award badge @cooey @Wreck lol) and I think the only premium member groupbuy for big company release since then was novamedia batman v superman.

VIP perk for blufans doesn't always work, I waited for the beauty shots then messaged Kevin the morning I saw the shots, the next day got a message saying vip orders had sold out, hence why I joined the group buy here. Apparently people joined the vip gb blind over there, I'll be doing that in future as I always collect their lentis regardless

So with there being a print run of 2000 - 500 1/4 slips
1500 of the double and the single combined. Assuming they share a print run of 750 each,
Are these the most limited lenticular's blufans have ever put out for a MCU release?

Even Thor with a print run of 2000 had 700 1/4's and only one lenticular

Assuming a print run of 750 each then yes this is Blufans most limited lenticular release for an MCU movie. In fact there's only 5 Blufans Exclusives lenticular releases that have been less than 750 units. (Frozen - Elsa and Anna slips, Age of Extinction slip A, Big Hero 6 single lenti and Zootopia single lenti)

I suppose they saw it as a smaller film? Idk to me this is one of my favourite marvel movies so far and the artwork's are gorgeous.
To me this is more a of a must have than many to have come before it. How odd

its not about you personally, its about hdn looking after paid premium members firstly thats all.
my thought was and only a thought that premium members to get access to say a gb first for a while that way.
regulars who actually get involved here could secure their copies first (say 1hr access before open gb) and then what would be left after would be available to the rest still giving everyone a chance. the main point being it would more than likely increase premium membership here helping this site to run as pointed out by wreck the costs.

for me there a regular premium members i know here that could not get a copy from here,
because of the very occassional member here main use the other site in the main and decide to come over when it suits to me that does not seem fair at all.

out of the gb 13 premium members got one that i can see with 3 hiding their details so there maybe 3 more, out of 59 discounting staff.
also some of the vistors have had membership for 4 years and made 6 posts in that time others 21 in 2 years and some been members have a 0 post count in 3 years to me that says it all the come for a gb and thats it when it suits and for me thats not helping the site at all or fair and some just joined that day!

if it was me i would require a minimum post (say 50) before allowing access to the gbs to promote use of the site that would keep stragglers off. if they when wanted access they would have to get involved which to me seems fair called give and take.

so for me a premium access to gbs first would be a big plus for people that actually make here what is a proper community and not imho people that come to suck life out of it when it suits and thats not trying to have a go at any one invidual if you want to change those views i would suggest coming and getting involved then i will happily welcome anyone.

btw currently there are 7 people who havent even bothered to read the message saying they are good and have secured a double lenti now they may be busy it could be the case but i let you work it out.

i just looking to balance the scales for all regular users of this community and make fairer for all that want to use the boards in an equal way.

all the best
