@chunk of course I will tag you if I am awake when it goes live and its my pleasure ..but also now starting to worry about PQ best print and its now becoming so confusing to me first we have to worry about unedited content, after best sound if we care, now PQ which tbh most of my Amaray are north America Prints and I have always been satisfied (usually watch the Amaray not steels but started opening my steels)

But now all the steels that I was planning on opening at one point, if I have to worry about PQ, should I just get an extra Amaray US for the movie as opposed to now work through my OCD and Open my steels to watch them ?

Lol.. I didn't think of that. . Hope I'm awake too. I've noticed FA gb's tend go live around 8pm or later uk time.
I have looked at the pq on the uk release,2D isn't as good as the 2D of the french disc but it's not as bad as I thought it would be ..and the 3D uk looks better in 3D than the 2D which is all on one disc.. and the french 3D pq is the best out of all the uk and french versions.. but of course this is just my opinion. If you don't own any dredd BD's yet, I would suggest waiting to see what the PQ on this FA release is like and if people see that other countries have better PQ than FA, then you could pick up a cheaper amaray to swap the discs out or just keep as a seperate

I will be checking in regularly for the gb live time for this

Yes yes, I made the mistake of seeing The Raid first, and absolutely LOVED that film. So when this came out, I went to see it. Already disliking the lead actor, I thought to myself "Oh man, this just seems like a very dumbed down, Americanized, half-assed version of The Raid."

And yes, I'm absolutely aware that this was in development before the Raid was, however, I saw the Raid first. And that completely tainted my viewing of this film and it's identical plot with subpar action.

It wasn't bad in my opinion but I haven't seen the raid yet either. And I liked the first one that this mimics. Was one of the first action movies I watched as a kid. However they could have made the story a bit better.

The gb you wait for and then sign your name to it. It will post the details in it. To order from film arena might not get one since the gb will prob be open before them on there website. And it will prob be sold or fast.

Yes its can be also 2AM EST I have seen GB open at this time at night right before I was going to bed. so it really depends when Karel has the time...but we should be on our toes lol

Thanks for the info on PQ, first time I really hear about this, and to actually see the difference on same Tv 2 different Blu-ray is weird... but Thanks for the 3D specification as it is how I would watch it... never had issue before with PQ, in this day and age I would think it would be the last thing we would need to worry about a Blu-ray Disk. I assume the PQ difference must be isolated case as opposed to the norm ??? I'll watch the 3D Mondo and see how nice the picture is.
