Get used to it cos it ain't changing
how many times have we recently seen after release prices less than pre-order prices (e.g. Frankenweenie)
there should be a bonus in pre-ordering an item and not the other way around

It's a very strange thing to do all round, first it actually being on the hut website and that it's cheaper, someone's made a mistake I expect mass cancellations :/

They already sell Zavvi steelbooks as well as non exclusives on the website and have done so for a long time its noting new
Lot of the time they have ones that are listed as sold out on Zavvi Website before and after release
Some listings are sold out at the moment but at times are available to buy
They are dearer by a few pounds or same price or cheaper depending on the release

The Hut own Zavvi so any product that's on Zavvi they can sell if they wish to do so as its their company
Zavvi was purchased by the Hut in 2009
They have done this before with some other previous pre order steelbooks
Its just that Hut website not looked at as much to notice the listings


I only get annoyed when a Zavvi Website Sold Out pre order is on their ebay Zavvioutlet website (Also part of the Hut Group) at a dearer price with extra shipping costs on top of that

Its cheaper
So order if you not already ordered and you missed out and want it

Same as Zavvi pre orders payment taken only when ready to be dispatched

Well I have ordered at that price. I originally ordered with zbox but cancelled as I don't like the idea
Hopefully they will honour it. Not sure what zavvi are playing at recently, but it's not good!

Just pre-ordered and noticed it does not say Steelbook on my order, it just say's Dredd 3D with limited exclusive key chain.....

The listing on Zavvi it also don't say steelbook has been that way from when keychain was added to the listing

Its listed though on both sites in its description

Yeah just realized when I went to cancel my Zavvi order, also noticed some Steelbook's on the Hut website which are listed as sold out on Zavvi's site.

Most of them are also sold out but the listings remain bar a few that are still available

Its a good idea to check the Hut Website especially after a release date for a sold out steelbook be available on the Hut website some will also though end up sold out quickly

I bought that zbox and what a load of rubbish it was to apart from the badge that is, now they have dispatched them they pull this,
it's the very last time I get fooled like this, I have spent a fortune over the years with zavvi, 45 pages of steelbooks that iv'e bought from them and have 15 pre orders with them right now, i'm thinking of cancelling all of my pre orders i'm that disappointed with them at the moment.

Iv'e just sent this message to zavvi.......

I just wanted to say how disappointed I am with zavvi right now, I bought this with a zbox because I was led to believe that this was sold out and I wouldn't be able to get it any other way then after you dispatch the zbox you go and put it up on your other site the hut at a reduced price, do you know or even care how your LOYAL customers (if you look at my order history you will see I am a loyal customer) feel when you rip them off like this, I don't expect you care or even if i'll get a reply from you, i'm seriously thinking of cancelling all of my pre orders i'm that disappointed with you and i'm not one to usually complain.

ghost1 do you really think Zavvi gives a shite ? They're a business out there to grab our money to churn out maximum profit using every trick in the book. I'm in your shoes mate, spent a ridiculous amount of money with them. Money that friends and family think i'm mad spending (everybody downloads films and music these days don't they!?). But Zavvi don't care and they never will.
