My copy should be here tomorrow. Now just need to decide whether to open this one, the fnac exclusive or pick up a copy of the Australian exclusive slipcover and open that one?
pick up the australian slipcover as its the best looking imho.. (its on sale till sunday btw)
keep the steel sealed as it looks better with the slip..
open the fnac tin as its the "least special" of the bunch..
will definitely be buying that Australian dredd that slip is sweet looking, and this will be staying sealed
Sorry about that, I used to order form them many times and learned that they always shipped steelbooks in just the cardboard envelopes (not even in a jiffy bag) someone in here suggest that place the order with "gift" wrapping would help, I did that and it helped indeed as they wrapped the steelbook inside their wrapping paper (kinda nice really) and but this inside the big cardboard box, mine's come mint... you just pay a little bit of extra of the gift wrap... probably you could try that next time...Mine arrived today in just a Jiffy bag and has a large dent in the back and across the spine

with the luck I have been having with steelbooks lately mine will most likely arrive damaged...we shall see though it was only shipped from HMV.co.jp earlier today for me.

Received mine today from amazon. Minty fresh as usual. The only thing I don't like about it is the chapter list printed on the inside artwork. If I could read it, it would not be that bad.
If anyone receives a dented/scratched copy and is sent a free replacement from Amazon, I'd happily buy the dented one from you if you don't want it

It was the same on Lockout, not too keen on it myself. At least this one has inserts to cover it up

You're far better off using a reshipper. I paid just under £89 to get Dredd, District 9, Amadeus, and The Goonies sent to the UK with tracked shipping. And import charges aren't a worry.
And the gift wrapping does nothing. They put what you order in a colourful envelope and tie it up with a ribbon, then put that in their normal packaging. The colourful envelope offers zero extra protection.

Well I threw those away as well.
