Because they only ship Express Mail. Gets to you in about 2-3 days tho

Looks good, better than French Metalpak release.

I'm still hoping for a release elsewhere for this, refuse to pay this price...and can't work out how to setup an account and get the translator to work correctly lol...I know a lot f people would be annoyed if this turned up in another cheaper country but I've just sacrificed a lamb to the gods to make it happen...

exactly and that's the reason that for now i'm fine with my lenticular slipcover version but i'm sure that somewhere down the line we'll see a UK version
i don't think the steelbook is expensive, the bad thing here is the shipping, that's what's expensive!

Yes it pretty amazing. My Lockout copy left Japan on Friday and arrived on Monday at my door.
They must have their own concorde fleet for steelbooks

Google Chrome is your friend when ordering from foreign language sites, as it translates automatically. I've stuck with Amazon.jp instead of HMV.jp. HMV is cheaper, but the packaging seems better with Amazon from talk on here. I've never used either, so I don't have any experience with either. Plus the general layout of Amazon.jp is the same as the other Amazon sites. So if you're familiar with Amazon it should be a doddle.

Thanks. I was waiting for someone to do a Steelbook nearer to the UK and I was going to give up and order the Canadian slipped Amray, until I saw this. It looks fantastic and I've gambled on ordering this. I want to see what all the fuse is about with these Asian Steelbooks, so I've ordered Goonies and V for Vendetta as well. I'm just hoping I don't get stung too much with the customs. This is also a way for me work out how much it will cost to order the three Lord of the Rings Steelbooks later in the year.
