Add another to the "humped by customs fees" list, £20.63! The biggest part of the fee was for Parceforce handling fees at £13.50, which is shameless. I love Steelbooks but sod importing them, worse than when I used to buy Japanese PS2 games back in the day!

Mine's been in customs for about a week. Is this normal ? I saw a parcel force van drive past yesterday and thought that was it. Do I have to wait for a letter to pay customs ? This is one of those rare occasions It would of been cheaper and quicker off e-bay.
You'll be sent a letter (be careful how you open it) and follow the instructions on how to be shafted, I mean pay the import fees on the parcel. Hope you get it soon mate.
Yea i got that £13.50 fee from parcel force... i couldnt believe it! the Import VAT was only £7.13!
Yeah. We get shafted FAR too much in this country. £13odd handling fee is bloody ridiculous. I got taken hard a couple of months ago with a couple of parcels from Amazon Jp, had them marked as gifts and they were under the gift threshold. Clearly this didn't matter at the courier added the shipping costs to the item cost and charged on the full amount. Apparently this is the norm these days. Why the he'll should you get charged on the shipping fee as well is beyond me. Think I'm gonna start getting stuff sent to me brah in Oz and get him to ship it on.

As long as it's being held at your local depot with charges pending, you can phone the Parceforce customer services line, give your tracking number and pay over the phone.
Had to double dip. Got the French tin edition of this but I love the look of this steel. One of my top movies of 2012.

Unfortunately thats the price that we have to pay
with Amazon JP and DHL.I would personally prefer Amazon JP to adopt the US Amazon way, of the pre deposit.
Its actually less because amazon us tend to charge vat based on the value of the goods not inc shipping whereas DHL will charge the full amount. Plus as its a deposit with Amazon US, they invite you to ask them after 60 days to see if you actually DID have to pay customs. If your parcel did NOT then you'll get the refund. 
And if customs is MORE than what you paid, you do NOT have to pay any more.
