I don't normally buy steels of films that I don't like, but starting to think I wish I made an exception for this!
Nevermind[emoji19]
. It has happened twice, first with Dracula Untold and now with Elektra

@rebelrocks Yes, unfortunately discs can dislodge in shipping, especially if they are in transit a long time (happens with amarays too when I used to buy them from Amazon).
9 times out of 10, the BD protective coating prevents any actual damage that prevents playback. Unfortunately, the only way to put the disc back on the spindle is to open it and pop it back on, or use the trick discussed here in the 'Loose Disc' thread here (takes some finesse).
Just to add a comment to @Apollon, the trick to pop back the disk into its holder, can only be done if you have only the steel in hands, it does not work if the steel is within the fullslip sealed as you will damage the cardboard of the Fullslip by pressing as instructed to pop it back in.
I know it is annoying, last month I received my Mint copy of Thor 2 Blufans which I ordered 11 months ago, and I have a loose disk. So either I keep it sealed with the loose disk or open it as Apollon stated to pop it back in. Loose disk are what worries me and a lot of collectors for the shipping journey, this is a reality that every steelbook collector will encounter, it sucks I know its not a great feeling I haven't opened my Thor 2 Yet to replace the disk still wondering what will I do
Cheers @Actarus. ATM I have just left it as is but I suspect I will end up opening it in the end as the loose disc is too annoying to ignore. One advantage for you is that the Thor 2 BF steelbook is more readily available to obtain than this though
