I'm more than happy for any HDN Mod to take control over the thread if that reassures anyone about bias or fair play. I feel that with steelbook collecting gradually becoming more mainstream, what is wrong with a pricing list? Someone will do it sooner or later, and is it not better done through HDN?

I kind of agree with some of the doubters of this thread. I think that it will simply increase prices for these steels (as if they needed increasing anymore). I don't think people need a price guide for rare steels, you should only pay a price you are happy with. If spending this kind of money is a tough choice, then the collector should do their homework to make sure they get a good deal. Maybe it would be a better idea to collate the latest selling prices on eBay and collector forums. I think that would be more helpful.

Keep in mind that these prices are simply estimated guess only. With that being said everyone is welcome to provide input, but again prices vary per each individual.

Advent children thailand £200??

Wanted debossed DE? Qualifieds at least in the £150 + range
Resident Evil Trilogy Korea £100+
IB should not be in the £200 range

This thread's idea is a moot point as prices fluctuate on the rare/hard to find steels all the time and not to mention IMO a dumb idea to have something like this out there acting as some sort of "official value/pricing guide" when it really isn't.... as eventually it will turn into that. A inflated one at that. It will eBay seller's wet dream to reference people to this thread if it catches on and gets big enough.

Just my 2 cents... not participating in this one. Besides we have a "current value" thread already on the forum that acts perfectly in its function as it represents "current" value's from time to time here when people talk about certain titles:

Well said! ;)

This thread is pointless how do we know there aren't users on here who have they're own agendas by posting a high price on here to sell their own stuff for more Money. Absolutely pointless

Let's keep the feedback constructive folks - you don't have to participate in this thread if you don't like the subject matter.

Keep in mind that the mods / staff members will keep watch on this thread, so if we feel that folks on e-bay or other areas are taking advantage of this content in a negative way, we'll take the appropriate steps.

Please pm me with questions.

Thank you.

I see 'Watchmen' Canadian and 'Der Nebel' 1st print German releases are getting quite expenive now. Also 'The Town' Canadian.

Yes they are increasing in price but they don't meet the £100/$150 threshold. Lets just keep this thread simple of which steel qualifies in each category :)

Any views on Taiwan's Terminator Salvation, and Japan's This Is It? Both have sold above the entry mark, but are they commonly available for less?
