I had a Target near me that never used those effin' spider wraps and they closed it!

I had to hit three other Targets this morning until I found one copy without a spider wrap.

Can you tell that I hate spider wraps? ;)

Copy secured! Now to wait for the next US release at Best Buy.

Also with my Final Fantasy SteelBook on its way today has been good to me!

The finish is amazing and exterior looks good overall. But the inside really blows as it could have been a perfect release for US if threw any image from the movie in there. Also , if you are a Sealed steelbook collector this is a great release for you since there are two layers of quality shrink wrap on them for some reason.

When I arrive at target I'll decide if I want this or the slipcover based on how they look in hand. Some of y'all act like you're going to store your steels inside out with no discs. You know the case will be shut 99.99% of the time right? :p

Still. Everyone is allowed their opinions. I just wanna see (spoiler alert)

the scene where that kid is in the no gravity game place doing flips and **** and owning everyone :scat:

It really isn't that hard to make your own inside artwork.

I used to make my own inside art but quickly got tired of doing so when I realized im not the one that should be putting the art in, the manufacturer/studio should. And even though I am very good a taking the steel apart, theres always risk damaging the cover and especially the spine.

No inside art isnt too much of a biggie for me since, like you said, the outside is what you see most of the time. But I also like a full package and theres no reason to have a blank inside...especially in 2014 for a new release. Just looks really cheap and sad when some of us finally do open to watch the movie

Trust me, I understand. I love inside art as much as the next guy. But I'm not gonna lie. If I can go to the store and pick a steel up, then we've already improved. I'll buy in store over importing any day. Unless there's a huge difference of course.

If I was in another country and had the opportunity to choose, I'd probably pass on this. But I'm about to HAND PICK a copy which is something we weren't able to do not too long ago. I'm sure there are a lot if ninjas on here who remember those days.

At least we don't get those horrendous solid quarter blank slips that the uk seems to think people love. Lol. I don't keep me steels sealed but if I did I'd be livid.

I got one out of 10 without damages. They all had 2 dents in the same spot on the bottom right.

Feel sorry for people buying them off ebay when a stock photo is being used.

I see two listings on there with dents in the same place and its not in the description.

Getting mint steels in the U.S. is next to impossible.

I was early enough this morning that they were not displayerd yet and was able to pick up 2 copies for myself as well as 5 more to help Andy with the GB. Non had the spider wrap yet and they were not shoved in the sliding display shelves. The case was opened in front of me and I was able to choose from the 12 that were packed in the case. The seal was on the ends of the box and the knife used came nowhere close to the steels for anyting to happen to them.
