Grrrrr

Typical game against Man U.

One shot, one goal and a nailed on pen for the villa (that's if a man hug against Micha Richards is fair game)

Was a 0-0 game written all over it. Typical ref - bottled it. Had that been Richards against Rooney = Pen and yellow card

However, Villa missing the clinical finish, otherwise, so much better than last season already

I wish all the Man U fans a safe Journey back to Birmingham and London :p

Totally agree that was bloody wrestling :(

Also their ridiculous goalie situation is so silly, they aren't going to play degea till after the transfer window? Then what just play him again and he's going to happily jaunt back into goal?

Seeing him, lindergard and valdes all sitting not playing looked sad :(

Well my poor chelsea got **** done on our first game, blatant penalty to us, costa totally taken out and nothing given then our goalie does his job going for a ball and swansea guy dives a mile, bad enough penalty but red card GTF!! Typical Oliver sends goalie off so we have play City with untested goalie really :(

Bergovic is a quality keeper - you should be ok

Have to disagree though, a pen all day for me - keeper was way too far out to not be on point with the tackle (taking into account the diving so and so's in the prem- that I can't argue! :) ) it all balances itself out though- usually against the Villa :hilarious:

The whole physio debacle though, Jose has been a bit OTT there. Great manager, but serious ego. The physios were just doing their job! And has he not seen those Buns on her

That does seem to be the case with many teams but they definitely don't even out with chelsea. We got a ridiculously low amount of penalties last season and so many we could have had, bad tackles that we didn't get anything for :(

Dreading poor result against City tomoz :(

You will probably win by a penalty now! :)

Very surprised by an outstanding performance from the blue boys today , expected a difficult Southampton team to cause us problems

Played very well mate. Your big Belgian fancied it today - when he does, he is unplayable.

Closest thing we had at Villa like him (bar benteke) was John Carew - world class when he was in the mood

Wonder what the odds were with the bookies on Terry getting subbed at half time! Bad move for moral that one. City look on it this season already. Point to prove me thinks

Yeah the chosen one making his point again . City look up for it Paul . I was disgussing the other day how city and Chelsea never win the league more than once , they both lose their hunger when they have won league season before . Love Utd or hate them , least they where consistent

Very true. I think Swansea look like they will do a Southwmpton this season - play really good football now too. I can see Sunderland sinking very quickly- they continue to be terrible.

Them, West Brom and Bournemouth to go down. Speaking of WBA, Pulis has drab tactics, going for the 1-0, but just as happy for a 0-0. Read somewhere he had never finished in the top ten as a manger in the prem.
