I totally agree. I'd say it should finish at least two weeks before the season starts.
I do enjoy the drama but if honest it's too disruptive for clubs. So many teams you don't know if your losing your players or even when you bring it players it's hard to slot them into the team having the season already started.
I mean look at Utd. What are they doing with Degea they want him to stay, I'd be playing him, telling him

Also players putting in transfer requests keen to leave a club and then it doesn't happen and they just have to stay, do they ever feel the same truly commit.
well i do enjoy transfer deadline day , but with what has just happened with stones , i got a feeling i may hate this one .
its very disappointing when a club like chelsea unsettle players from other clubs , i think something should be done about mr mourino and captain gobshite when they are making personal calls to players to tell them to come join us
i hope if stones does leave , he goes to utd where he will improve and become a legend instead of sitting on the bench for chelsea like many others do then go out on loan 12 months later for their careers to be ruined by the special one
