Looks like my zavvi's going on ebay then.

Just added my name to the group buy.

Any one else getting sick of buying zavvi versions only to sell up later to pick up a more superior beefed up version with additional goodies a few months later ?

If everyone in the GB thread had only ordered one copy, a minimum of 201 copies have already gone based on the number of posts (number includes the people that have more than one copy listed in the OP).

Considering the GB limit is 299 copies, and a lot of people have been asking for 2 copies, if it hasn't already sold out (which it may well have) it definitely will be sold out soon.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking about joining the GB - get in there quickly!

Thanks for the tags guys....if I wasn't going for the Mondo steelbook I'd be all over this. I won't be double dipping ;)

I am going to wait for further details and probably miss out in the process. The slip needs to be something really special for me to justify purchasing this as I already own the Zavvi edition which I am happy enough to keep.

I was thinking the same to be honest. But i'm wishing this one has a lenti magnet and a nice full slip. Worth the punt.

i will do that JJEZ225 thanks for yours and staff help and advice.
i had noticed a lot of people seem to miss or be too late for the GBs reading older and newer threads and are disappointed so thought if staff sent out a mail it would be fair for all and i guess no excuse if missed out
Have you really thought this through? You'd rather have the staff spam 19000+ members who have zero interest in a given GB than "suffer" this minor inconvenience yourself:
i dont want to come to the site for opening of group buys i don't want to or alerts that i am not interested in or have no meaning to me.
Let's assume that the total allocation for this GB will be reserved (and it will).

Why would any of those who paid attention and posted their request in the GB thread be any less deserving than those who are unaware of what is going on?

With a highly wanted limited edition, many will lose out. With a mass mailing notification, many would still lose out.

Nothing will change that. It just might be a different set of people who manage to get their copies, but nevertheless many will be left without.

As mentioned, it's trivially easy to set up email notifications when a new thread is created in the GB forum. That's your "email from the staff" right there.

I'm very happy that this great film is getting released in the FilmArena Collection. Looking forward to seeing the slip cover artwork and the extras :happy:

Can you not change your email alert preferences in settings so dont get mails you dont want .
Anyways it wasn t a inconvenience for me personally , not everybody in general wants to hang about on online sites or can jump on there computer every time they get a alert
does that make them less deserving of a chance of getting one
Most people have work family other stuff to deal with so can t even if they want to
didn't actually realize site had,20,000 members which is great.
only a very small % of members of any online site are active members .
You will notice the same smallish number of same old faces popping up everyday ha ha all the time "regulars" whatever you want to call them.
my post as said now few times was based on fairness not just da regulars getting in there and snagging them and giving others a chance.
A staff member answered and i thanked him for that and i have put a watch on the GB thread.
