But backing out of purchases with other retailers does not get you blacklisted for future purchases. I know you are aware of this policy with FA group buys as you have been very quick to point it out to members in the past. Seems irresponsible to be encouraging everyone in this thread to blindly commit to this purchase when you know this policy well.
The "no backing out" rule is true of every GB on this forum. If you don't agree with it then don't join a GB. While its not a perfect situation particularly when you are" buying blind" I certainly understand the reasons for it.

Sorry for totally off topic but I can't understand why people get offended with this rule!?!

There is a stranger on the other side of the world who buys a few hundred steelbooks for strangers for thousands of dollars. Lets say Karel buy 300 copies each 30 EUR, thats 9000 bucks!!!
And he is not amazon, he can't sent them back or do a 3 for 2 in a few months. wtf people thinking sorry !??!

You obviously did not properly read my post. I was not questioning who makes the rules or why they are in place. I was questioning why Actarus was relentlessly pushing the group buy on any user that seems remotely on the fence, when he knows "the no back out or get blacklisted rule”. Seems a bit irresponsible.

Next time take a deep breath, relax, and make sure you understand someones post properly before pulling out the Bold text.

I think you should re-read @Actarus posts. All he is doing is sharing his enthusiasm for these releases. Everyone is free and adult enough to make their own decisions. The rules of the GB are spelled out very clearly in the OP of the GB. No one is getting duped or coerced into joining.

believe me, this Gb doesn't need any pushing to be filled up, I am in Love with film arena and this is what it is all about. We have seen their previous releases, I am excited and don't want a member to regret afterwards when they see the beautyshot. Most of the time it is always the case people cry out because they see the beautyshot and have missed out. So if I nudge them with my enthusiasm and excitement, does that mean that they have to do so ?

I don't even know why you are bring this up, it is a really silly thing to pick on.

For those not familiar, missing out on the group buy is not the end of the world, even though some on here will try to make you think so. Ordering these exclusives directly from the Filmarena website has been very easy so far and should continue to be so unless they decide to do a Marvel release. Just keep an eye on the product page for the pre-order times. They ship to most places worldwide as well.

And to top it off, you get offended to be forced to participate in a group buy and even without seeing the artwork?! Those are the "the glass is half empty people" o_O

Lets be the "glass is half full people". You get the CHANCE to participate in a Group Buy weeks before the normal audience can do a pre-order.
You can get the CHANCE to participate in a Group Buy even before the artwork is ready.
You can get the CHANCE to relax at pre-order time if its 4000 copies or just 500.
You can sit back, relax, put your feet up after your work and in the meantime Karel drive through whole Europe after his work to buy your copies. For people 90 % of he will never ever see in person in his life and he earn not 1 single buck of it.......

While true, GBs can often be easier for people (e.g. if they're away, at work, asleep, etc. when it goes live for sale) and in the case of Karel's Film Arena group buys, it can even work out cheaper than ordering directly from Film Arena (e.g. cheaper shipping costs).

Also, I'm sure I read in a thread a few weeks ago about various people missing out on ordering directly from Film Arena for a release because demand was too high.

Plus, if you order from Karel you get the same number each time
(I know Film Arena also offer number reservation, but if you started off getting them via GB's, I'm not sure you could then get the same number if you switched to ordering direct).

At the end of the day, if you're not sure if you want something, don't sign up for the GB. If you are, and it's convenient, then do.
