Why is it taking so long ??? They're just grabbing Zavvi steels and putting them in to a cardboard box. Hardly making the steelbooks from scratch are they ....

Did you not realise that at the time he posted that, 2 weeks time was the new release date? ;)

If you think that's all there is to preparing a release like this, then you're beyond help and I'm not even going to bother explaining the reasons why releases like this are likely to be delayed...

:p

I know. I know ... just annoyed with the delay that's all. I normally don't like whinging if a steelbook needs to be designed from scratch as I don't want them to rush. But we all fell in love with this steelbook the moment Zavvi released it. And now we're just looking for the best retailer who gives us the most extras with the steelbook.

They are not just releasing Ex_Machina and working on this only release, there's so many releases that they were planning, designing, ordering all the bonus extras, man handling 1 steel at a time for inspection, adding all the Bonus to Chappie release and Ex_Machina Release, they are working on JW Also, Preparing Ghost Rider, F&F 7 Dodge Edition + F&F 7 John Walker Edition and all that it entails, Working on Dredd and Designed Looper, they are also working on the massive Birdman Release at the same time and Preparing as well ''Love, Rosie'' all of that is just what I can think off the top of my head, so for me having 2 or 3 delays of 1 to 2 weeks each I prefer them doing this than a half done job where it leaves us unsatisfied. They will not release a Package if not Perfect. And they have delays also, it could be that Bonus extras are unsatisfactory and needs to be redone or yet longer delays to receive them, not mentioning the cards as well with the extra paper Cardboard that they now add so not to add the numbering Card directly on the FullSlip to damage it and those cards have to be put on manually straight when shrink wrapped. Believe me they are drowning in work. All needs to be inspected and manually added within each FullSlip all the while making it harder doing all of this with Gloves in hands not to put fingerprints on the release/items... And this isn't Blufans, 2 or 3 delays of 1 to 2 weeks is an acceptable delay as opposed to an extra 4 to 6 months like Blufans does...
