That's the best news I could have heard about this title. The finish is probably already decided on. This is the one time that I would not go with gloss, but rather with a silky smooth matte like Public Enemies CA, which exudes quality in a muted-color steel. PE also has thicker steel than the steels put out these days, and I'm sure that helps. I don't think I've seen another steel done like PE. Looking forward to F/O.

I wish other new releases could hold this $45 price (talking to you, Oz, but truth be told, I'd rather have 3D+2D than another steel with only a 2D disc at a cheaper price point).

Obviously you have to be selective if you're in that position. It may come available on ebay at less than retail in a short amount of time (not sure how that happens but it does) or maybe you can get a trade going (hard to put together, though, I know). You'll get one soon and be on to the next one. You'll probably order several between now and then.

The only to get this is of you are on the GB which is now closed or if you order direct from blufans who only ship in China, and as you are in Germany that is no good

My advice would be to build up your post count quickly (but don't spam) and then wait until after all the steels for the GB have been shipped and see if there are any spare copies which i don't no for sure but would expect there to be... Also when your post count is high enough and if there are not any spare copies, then check out the trade forum, there will probabley be people offering this for sale or trade at not too bad prices so soon after the release...

Yeah. As far as I know they've replaced the old 'gift' option with that new one.

Not too fussed about the slip cover, a steelbook as nice as this one needs to be seen in all its glory not hidden behind a slip cover. Just my opinion.
