in the lower part of the Steelbook the metal is nearly blank without paint.

and that contrast makes the difference compared to the mockup, giving the whole image much more depth.
Still not loving all those different style types, but i'm glad that cool grey makes the little ones disappear a bit

The embossing looks good but I still don't like the artwork. It just doesn't remind me of Fargo, they could have picked something better IMO.

The red coloring on the front title 'Fargo' looks slightly misaligned- similar to some peoples copies of 'Aladdin'....:wtf:

This has to be priced around £9.99, to sell at a more effective rate. At the current price it is way to expensive. To contrast Brave and Up are available for almost the same current price, include the 3D disc and are distributed by Disney- a brand that distributes some of the most expensive releases. I see this going down in price, as many other similar releases have. Not my favorite steelbook, but Fargo is a classic ;)

It is a remastered disc though, I think that justifies a small increase in price. In any case, this is a good deal compared to most recent Fox titles which are ridiculously priced everywhere.

The thing that bugs me with Fox titles is that they always have a matching slip which looks more colourful and vibrant than the actual Steelbook. I do like matching slips but the contrast makes it seem as if Fox are saying 'this is what it could have looked like if we had made an effort' :(

Oh dear, another steel that's white in the mockup but actually silver (Place Beyond the Pines anyone?). I must admit the embossed title looks nice, but the design and dull matte finish aren't doing it any favors.

If they had used a gloss finish it would look that colorful and vibrant for sure.

This steelbook looks vastly better from the actual pics of it than the design mock-up done. The print quality looks to be fantastic. I will try to order this one once it goes on sale at Amazon.co.uk again.
