oh yeah, amazon.co.uk will have a better return policy and easy to deal with customer service. The packing isnt the greatest, but it's better than HMV's and HMV will make you wait quite a while and harder to deal with in regards to returns of damages or no arrivals.
You should def. use amazon.co.uk since you're in the USA.

My Paul had a small ding on it, they refunded me the entire amount.

I must say wreck i do have to disagree on amazon vs Hmv packaging i think HMV as far superior packaging by a long way, the small boxes they send them in are very sturdy and never had a prob myself.
I think for us in the UK the HMV packaging tends to be more robust as it doesn't have so far to travel. However I have had dings with HMV packaging and when they go, they really go.
Amazon has a much better and well proven returns policy, not that HMV's is bad but their (Amazon's) packaging generally does leave a lot to be desired, it's just that it travels longer distances better.
If you're in the states, here are some pros and cons of ordering from hmv and amazon uk:
Amazon UK-VAT is removed
HMV-VAT is not removed
Amazon UK-Shipping is less than HMV
HMV-Shipping is about 1.50 GBP more than Amazon per item
Amazon UK-Will send a replacement before the damaged item is sent back, or they will possibly let you keep the damaged one. Or they will offer you a discount to keep the damaged item.
HMV-Will not send replacement until the damaged item is sent back and as far as I know, they do not offer a discount to keep the damaged item.
Amazon UK-Will ship the item in a cardboard envelope
HMV-Will ship the item in a cardboard box fit for the size of a steelbook
Both are great places to buy steelbooks, but, amazon is more customer friendly if you have a problem with your order. It is possible to get a denter from HMV, afterall, they ship in a cardboard box with no protection. One of the last items I ordered came dented. I've only received one denter from ordering from amazon uk over the last year.
I'm only going to order from HMV anymore if the item is exclusive to HMV. Otherwise, I'm going to order from amazon. But that's just me.

Darc-yes, I definitely have to agree, that after shopping many international stores for years (I am in the US, too), Amazon UK is much better for customer service. They resolve things much faster, and 9/10 I am never asked to pay return postage if something does arrive damaged. Plus the VAT removal is a great bonus. Thanks for the great post!

Very good point, Deuce. Whilst they are Amazon with a different hat on it's a lottery whether you'll get a denter or not. They tend to handle the really big volume stuff, mass market like Harry Potter, having said that I had no probs with them with Adjustment Bureau or Paul. Remains to be seen how Hanna, Fast & Furious 5 and The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-ec will be handled by them.
I think the UK coloring and car angle looks nicer but to each is own. I'm getting this one and the FS release

Nice, wonder if the rating logos are printed or on a cardboard. I fear it's printed as the spine has logos too. Or am I wrong ?
I'm speechless!!!! I don't know what to say!!! This would be my first steelbook in this format. So this might not have any debossing or embossing? Have any of the other steels like this have had anything special?

Seemed kind of odd to change artwork at the last minute tho ... which it feels like since release date is pretty close. I guess with so many Portrait artwork Fast Five steelies out there they decided to switch it up.
