Oh wow I didn't think this edition would cause so much controversy. I like hearing from both sides of fans though.

For me, PW has been an essential part of the franchise and it feels right to acknowledge him. I haven't consistently done ANYTHING for 14 years lol, yet I've been a fan of these movies since the beginning. Looking forward to this release!

If this is a real genuine tribute to Paul Walker and not just capitalizing on his tragedy, have a small percentage of the sales go to the charity he founded "ROWW"

That's a great point. I would imagine a percentage of all proceeds from the blu-ray sales would go toward ROWW. At least, I certainly hope they continue to do that as that was the case with the Fast 6 release.

There's probably a delay in the final decision because of the slight controversy for the real purpose of this release as noted by some concerns in the thread.Hopefully they head towards the right direction if deciding to move forward.
