So, everyone footed their production costs and lifestyle no doubt, then they failed to provide the product paid for...in my eyes therefore they're technically stealing everyone's money.

In what reality is this not a crime?
Technically they're in breach of contract as they're unable to provide the goods originally purchased. Not legal in the UK but don't know how this works in other countries...
Absolute scumbags...

Irish site but this is a brief guide on EU law, and going by my own experience of EU law they're absolutely breaching it.

"If the goods are not available, the trader must inform you and refund your money."

If I were any of you I'd be threatening to take this to the courts. Had this a few times over the years with companies trying to get away with similar stuff, it can be a lengthy process but I wouldn't be accepting credit when they're refusing/unable to fulfil orders.

Absolute f**king scumbags

I get they have loyal fans over the years but I truly hope no one supports them going forward, Jan is completely f**ked over legally and never allowed to sell/ create anything like this again and I hope everyone affected gets their money back. Makes zero sense to also be selling Manta and Blufans editions.
This whole thing, only giving credit back, raising prices of their own editions monumentally that the credit don’t even cover and randomly scalping other premium retailer editions screams and reeks of desperation and maybe even some kind of bankruptcy or money issues.

Hope the fans who might not still be able to let them go sees this as a major red flag. If they do get their feet back on the map which I truly hope with every ounce of my being that it never ever ever happens again because imo he’s always taken the p!ss out of FA fans more and more each year until they got too big for their own boots filling mostly tacky slips with WWA steels whilst constantly raising prices and I’ll never understand how they got so big. Yeah they had some nice editions and slips here and there and I’ve always praised their very few WEA steels but they can’t be supported any longer and that’s the best way to make them extinct along with legal action for taking your money and not providing goods or a full refund.

Absolute f**king scumbags

Emailed the below message to Filmarena...

Are Filmarena aware they are legally obligated to issue refunds for orders which can not be fulfilled? Offering only store credit under such circumstances is illegal, however, Filmarena seem intent on forcing store credit on customers despite being in breach of contract with a high number of customers' orders. The fact that Filmarena have massively increased the prices of in stock items merely short changes customers who are being forced into using store credit as a 'part' payment towards overpriced products or using funds from multiple orders to potentially pay for just one item.

Surprisingly, got this response...

we kindly inform you that we are refunding our customers.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation.

Anyone actually receiving refunds yet?
