This is BY FAR the best film i`ve seen this year. Feels like Bad Lieutenant (if Guy Ritchie or Edgar Wright had made it)

Absolutely brilliant and a must own for me :scat:

Again, I also have to agree with this! It definitely had a Edgar Wright/Guy Ritchie feel about it... some parts even reminded me of Trainspotting.

Easily one of the best blind-buys I've purchased in a while... both in terms of the steelbook and the film itself.

Sorry mate, but comparing this to the A Place Beyond the Pines "fiasco" is ludicrous. Sure, that one wasn't the same as advertised, but there really is no issue if you change the color of the background, because it can be any color they want and still work. But having the wrong color for something that can only be ONE color to accurately represent what it is, is a slightly bigger issue. What, if they mess up and put a green Iron Man on the next Avengers steel, you'll just expect no-one to mind?

Honestly, get a grip.

Place Beyond the Pines was far more egregious. The mockup was off-white, the steelbook was bare metal. This is a much smaller area of the steelbook.

Yes, it is. Also very pleased with the black matte finish. One of the best matte finishes I've seen in a long time. The light actually reflects a bit like a gloss finish and streaks are not present.

I think they've changed the ink in the inkjet printer guys :hilarious:

That's black? It looks purple to me (as it does in the mockup and other pics posted).

A smaller area, but a much bigger mistake. A background in silver still looks like, well, a background. Coke in silver doesn't really look like coke, doesn't really look like anything to be honest.

While the PBtP cover doesn't look nearly as good, it still represents what it wants to represent. This cover now shows us a guy sniffing metal powder. I doubt it represents the movie, don't you?

Front Artwork is pure Black
All the pics look blue to me :wtf:

Its not Blue or purple
But it does have a fluorescent shine due to Yellow Filth Embossing and Yellow fluorescent back artwork and Jcard this effects photos when taken
Its a fluorescent Yellow that effects some photos causing it to sometimes have blue/Purple look
But as you can see from this photo above its pure Black

When you have the steelbook itself you wee see what I'm talking about

Note the Coke Lines are Silver but again when held at an angle have a white powder look
The fluorescent Yellow causes it to look different depending how your displaying and Photos will show it incorrectly as the fluorescent Yellow shines of the silver causing photos to look wrong

Example were Photo show wrong Colour caused by fluorescent Yellow
The Blue/Purple look in the Photo Below is caused by fluorescent Yellow

You would have to have the Steelbook to see the effect above

Overall its a great Looking Steelbook and I like it
Note if your affected by fluorescent Yellow you might find it causing an eye strain if you have problems with fluorescent Yellow
The fluorescent Yellow is very strong

I have to disagree and say that it's definitely blue/navy... hold it next to a steelbook that is actually black (I compared it to the recent True Romance, Aliens, Clockwork Orange and The Shining releases) and you'll notice the colour difference instantly.
