I know it's not damaged. But I'm not happy with it so was going to send it back, it's still sealed and untouched so they can re-sell it again. So I don't see why it's such a big deal. I emailed them letting them know I'd like to return it and they want me to provide pictures. It's turning into a cat and mouse game, which I didn't intend at all.

It sounds like you told them it was damaged/faulty. If you told them it was unwanted (which is the case), I'm sure they would send return instructions without question.

I love the movie and the steelbook looks great but there is no way this has sold out it will reappear. There are other exclusives still on the site months after.

i would have bought a second copy with the 15%off recently when i had known that it's so close to selling out.
the itching is not so bad this time as i have my copy, but when it eventually comes back in stock, i get myself a 2nd sealed one.

Well, having purchased my copy a week ago and having it arrived about three days ago, I can say this is one of my more favourable steelbooks of recent months.
Also, the actual film, personally, is absolutely brilliant. I know it isn't on the same par as Trainspotting, but it is superbly acted by McAvoy and the ending is very emotional. I think it makes sense how it is sold out, and I'm extremely glad I got my copy

Knowing Zavvi they'll probably put some left over stock on Play.com/Zavvi_Outlet on eBay.

There are now lot more steelbook collectors than there was a year ago
