I can understand bonus discs being left out of cheap catalogue titles and blus that are being re-released as steelbooks (it still sucks, but they're usually cheaper releases), but there's no excuse for leaving them out of full price brand new blu steelbook releases.

I've been considering buying the American version of a few Disney titles as they seem to get royal treatment over there (4-5 disc sets with many different formats to play, more slipcovers as well as different versions of each title, bonus disc of extras, etc.).

Ah well, if I really want the 3D version I can save up the points for Disney Movie Rewards and hope it gets added, lol. XD

So conflicted. Viva or steelbook? I previously bought the asian lion King steelbook instead of the Viva because they both came with 3D and bonus discs and were released at about the same time.

Now I'm not sure to stick with my Finding Nemo viva or gut it and buy this release. :dunno:

I've cancelled mine, the Steelbook is lovely but I'm getting out of collecting I've sold a few already on EBAY at a loss but I had no intentions to buy to sell on. ;(

I have no room to store them and the way new releases/reprints are coming out constantly is a costly one.I will keep a few of my fave films though.

In the words of DELBOY........ BONJOUR EVERYONE ;)

I think the studios are at a point where they could be shooting their own feet. Consumers just went through with the DVD buying craze not that long ago. The studios are risking losing those buyers forever if they continue down the same path they are going IMO. They just don't get it. :(
