Pre-ordered one. I live in the U.S. so I hope it makes it here ok. I have heard a lot of bad things about their shipping before.

Roger Rabbit comes out before this, and Zavvi is rumored to be improving their packaging in time for that. So once we see the results of the Roger Rabbit packaging, we will have time to cancel if their packaging doesn't improve.

I have watched this in 3D and the conversion is superb makes the film even more enjoyable especially when the shark is coming right at you.

Although having a 65 inch VT50 plasma helps. :naughty:

Does that help prevent the 30% light loss? Also 3D stops working for me about 10 mins in to a movie where my brain just gets used to it and it just feels like I am watching it in 2D, only with a darker image.

You will always get light loss with a plasma but if calibrated correctly as I have had done with mine, plus I only watch 3D in a completely blacked out room I have no problem with the drop in light you get when you put on the glasses. I find the picture way bright enough, and the great thing about Plasma is you get very little cross talk in the image if any.

Also an animated film is very easy to convert and will look as spectacular as if it were filmed in Native 3D. ;)

I never feel I loose the 3D effect when watching, like Prometheus for example its all about depth of field and not gimmicky pop out effects. I thought the 3D on that was superb plus the old saying is true the bigger the screen size the better to fill your field of vision.

Sorry mods for going off topic here. ;)

I hope that helps.

Thanks, I also think Cinema's don't help 3D by the way they show them, I remember taking my daughter to see the Lion King in 3D and it was so dark it was off putting. I guess home cinema is the best place for the format

I think your right.

I have had friends go to the cinema to see a film in 3D and complain and then I would show them the same film on my system and they would sit there with their mouths hanging open as to how good the 3D is. :hilarious:

Set up is critical for getting the best out of a 3D film, but it also helps if the director knows what he is doing regarding the shooting of the 3D image, depth of field etc !! ;)

Anyway back on topic, this is a great steelbook of Nemo. :p
