I got the german version and was dissapointed that the Sb actually was in silver and not white (just like the german star trek). Hopefully this will be better with no text on the back...

I think im one of the minority who hasn't seen this film yet.. Now I finally have an excuse to buy it

Watched this on Sky the other night
and OMG I end up in same old state EVERY time I watch this
Should be some more popping up here soon ;)
:oohyeah: :oohyeah:

Wonder if this will one of the "missing" SB's in Wave 2 of Paramount Centenary ??

I hope you're referring to the titles in the recent poll. If so its about time they announced a title that hasn't already been released. Hopefully it won't be the announcement of re-releases of War of the Worlds, Transformers films, Tropic Thunder, Eagle Eye, Disturbia and every other Paramount steelbook ever released.

Actually as long as eBayers keep buying up my soon to be inferior German versions for more than the cost of these, I don't mind. I really hope that these have the same type of design as recent Paramount UK releases i.e. title embossing, embossed border, clean front and back and inside art; as that would definitely make up for them being re-releases :scat:

As for this title, I wouldn't mind the same front cover as the German one (minus the german text of course) as long as this one is white and not silver.

I do believe so, at least to UK ... and typically when they go for diff art other Countries dont copy as the studios tend to differ. Play is going out of there way always trying to suggest/obtain unique art so there is higher chance you wont see Play editions elsewhere in that regard.

im amazed by the turnaroubd from play.com this year. they are the uks leading steelbook source now, possibly the world!
so many top draw steels this year, its unreal.

heres hoping for anoter wave of fox titles to rival germany (kingdom of heaven, independence day and castaway please)
