My wisdom ? lol, anyway, here goes . . .
The back is NOT ugly.
The back is plain.
There is a BIG difference, mon "ami".
Ugly back ...............................................................................................................................................vs. ..................................................................Plain back
images

On the other hand the "ugly" back could make for a nice steelbook for the right film . . . and the only one I can recall off the top of my head with flowers is ONLY GOD FORGIVES which I feel isn't too ugly:-

Plain backs - as seen on the Eurekas and also on other examples - are certainly preferable to fully printed backs as seen on early U.K. steelbooks which I find unbelievably ugly even when compared to plain backs with j-cards:-
Can't be bothered to take pics of the backs of my copies but here are a few sourced from the internet of ehat I consider to be ugly backs or in other words, before the invention of the j-card and the partial slip (LOL):-

. . . and so on . . . pretty sure you get the point: -
PRINTED BACKS = Ugly
PLAIN BACKS = Bad
ARTWORK ON BACKS = Good
So you went onto google images to get a picture of Cheryl Cole's arse, so you could make a point on HDN:naughty::LOL::LOL::LOL:......

So both Zavvi and Eureka are sitting on more copies of this then.....?

Well mine is a case and booklet, not a brand new sealed one. It would make sense for them to have extra cases. As for Zavvi.......this is Zavvi you're talking about, of course they've got more ;)

Yeah, some have plain backs with scratches on ;)
Scratches on back=good / no scratches on back=bad

Joking aside . . . I don't remember any other previous issue with a Eureka steelbook apart from one - a problem with very stubborn glue globs on the DOUBLE INDEMNITY steelbook (I think it was that one, or was it TOUCH OF EVIL, I just remember it was an orange steelbook but can't be sure without checking).
