Yep but it's a seriously restored old movie with serious extras and one of the all time horror classics. Like Ben Hur or Casablanca it's passed the test of time and earned it's brownie points.

Kind of wouldn't be surprised if the price stayed the same and it sells out quick. A couple of years back a limited release of this in the States with simonise extras in a standard amaray was released and sold out quick, they were selling in eBay for more than most Grails here do.

I'm always glad when the original poster art (or close to it) is used for a release. Maybe it adds some nostalgia for those of us who saw certain film's when they came out. Most times the poster art is great and should always be used!

Me too.. I think going to the video shop in the 80's and seeing all those hand drawn (poster art) vhs boxes on the shelves made the films look exciting..(or cinema posters) sometimes they looked so action packed or scary etc depending on genre that sometimes the film itself didn't live up to the artwork once you'd watched it lol.. I would like so many 80's films released in steel, my list is so long, I'd even pay £25 each if they were to use original poster art, and a great finish..(would be perfect if they charged £14.99 though) zavvi could have all my money:emb: I will definitely support pre ordering these kind of movies cos I want them to continue releasing them but the reality is most don't,zavvi's goonies took ages to sell out even though it's the best steelbook of the four so far released(and a great steelbook full stop), Beverly Hills cop price dropped to £4.99 before it sold out so there's next to no chance of finishing the trilogy.. and beetlejuice had that odd disappearing artwork when it was tilted, gremlins could have been better.. but I still pre ordered them.. and happy I did.

I'd love to see more 80's horrors get the steelbook treatment, also why have there been no breakfast club steelbook's yet.. and Steve Martin, John candy, whoopi goldberg, eddie Murphy, bette milder, Michael j fox, gene wilder, Richard Pryor etc etc.. I'll shut up now I'm getting way too excited:bag:

Good to know, if they do drop the price I won't cancel my earlier order until I've secured another order.

Do you remember how limited it was?

I still have boxes of those VHS tapes most in perfect condition. Even though I will never watch them (I do have a video player) I just can't let anything go.

Have you seen how much some of those Twilight Time releases are selling for now? Some are just insane prices.

Oh I know trust me!

I see people pay silly money for some absolute crap releases (design and disc content) and here comes a BD of 80's cult classic horror FRIGHT NIGHT loaded with a brand new 4K restoration and 2 hour documentary PLUS other new and exclusive goodies (making it the DEFINITIVE release of the film by a good couple of miles!)with steelbook art featuring key original theatrical artwork instead of some photoshopped bollox AND its from Eureka which is quite possibley the most prestiged Studio in the UK for catalogue AND AV quality and people are Moaning about the £25 price tag!

I seriously don't understand!
