Still find it very strange that Eureka still haven't officially announced this

Eureka are announcing February releases on facebook on Tuesday 22 November
It's possible they might announce the Amaray

The steelbook sold without any need for them to announce the release but yes it was strange they did not announce it themselves
When it was listed early on Zavvi by mistake that was enough to get the attention needed and I would love to know what Eureka reaction was when they saw how quick it sold

I expect the majority of the disc pressings will be for the Amaray

It's also possible the December release date is wrong it would not surprise me if it was

Doesn't matter. For a first time UK Blu-ray release, and a steelbook release to boot, there should have been a press release for it. Zavvi dropped a bollock and announced it too early and I have no doubts they were given a proper telling off by Eureka. If anything this should have made them rush out a press release for the product. Plus you have to remember that not everyone are a part of the forums and only look on news sites etc so I can guarantee that a lot of people will still not be aware of this coming out. Forget Eureka's reaction to how quickly it sold out, I want to know their reaction for when Zavvi listed it too early

Why would they waste their time 'announcing' something that's already sold out? Surely they will put their efforts into advertising something you can actually buy? Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the release of the steelbook for preorder wrightly or wrongly it's done now, I'm sure zavvi have had their hands slapped, eureka are probably annoyed zavvi jumped the gun but there's no use worrying about it now, if they announce an exclusive steelbook from zavvi and then customers rush to buy it to find it sold out, that will just annoy people further who don't already know it sold out long ago. I got my preorder in when it first went live early, purely by chance but I'm glad I did otherwise I'd have missed out altogether

At least it's not as bad as £155 for Ted FAC #45. It's a shame, but if people are prepared to pay it then the there will always be a market for it.

I think you are missing the point. It means doing things properly regardless of the sell out. Zavvi have policy, regulations and procedures to follow to sell any product. If they want to sell the product then they have to do it properly. Not doing things how they want to. This is a limited release production and if they have not made an official announcement to the general public look at how many complaints they will receive? Yes they sold out, but the way in which they did it will get some hefty feedback from Eureka.

Zavvi has cancelled bulk orders in the past...And Amazon sometimes restricts to 2/3...So it is possible

Not when it's a exclusive with a retailer
If it had of been a trade wide release then it would have been available or a exclusive not selling well with the retailer
The amaray will be available on Eureka website
