Would love to see some pics of the actual steelbook.

Located an unboxing a day or so ago - page 46, post #917 - and consequently posted here for anyone interested.

Just as an aside been keeping san eye on prices achieved on the secondary market auctions and it appears that this steelbook is regularly making between GBP 45 -50 apiece there.
Unsurprising really that many collectors will be keeping this one sealed or at least one of their two copies if they had the foresight to bag two.
It's also been reported that 125 have been sold at these prices so I'm thinking that this steelbook has potential "grail" status written all over it . . .

^ With the reports across the forums of paint chips, scuffs and scratches on the backs of these steelbooks it looks like there's an issue with the handling of the steels post production and quality control seems to have taken a back seat. No such reports for ENEMY MINE or THE ENTITY that I can find though.
An obvious blessing that these issues don't appear to affect the front of the steelbooks where the artwork is located
If the back is meant to represent the night sky then just look at the paint chips as stars.

Opened mine today and has loads of faint scratches on the back. Really disappointed. Does anyone actually have a mint copy?

Oh man I definitely don't like the look of the back of that steelbook. I did ask a guy on Instagram if his copy was dented or scratched he said his was in mint condition. I'm expecting the worst when my copy gets here.

The good news is that these scratches are quite faint and not obvious.

The bad news is there are a lot of them and they are there, we know about it and cannot be ignored.
