English subs and 2 English tracks only. Original Stereo PCM and 5.1.

Anyone else not a fan of this guy playing Peter Vincent in You're So Cool, Brewster? Feel like he adds nothing but running time to the whole thing. :yuck:

He played Butterball in Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II.

Not that I have an opinion on his portrayal as Peter Vincent as I haven't seen it.

Glad someone else mention it. The documentary is really cool and well done. But the fake Peter Vincent as the host is out of place and embarrassing. I was bored and bothered by all of his appearances.

Still a lot of crazyness with all the issues but I try to keep hopeful. They should have been more alert with the quality control and in my opinion we deserve another round, some will disagree of course.

I bought mine on ebay and it was not cheap. It was my choice. If they decide to press a new batch due to the production problem i would consider this normal. Most people bought it straight from zavvi and they deserve a mint copy.

If eureka had of used back artwork fine faint scratches that can only be seen in certain light and angle would not been noticed

No artwork on the back any fine faint scratches easier to be noticed on a lot of steelbooks when go looking for them

Some got steelbooks to their eyes is mint no scratches but they are there if you look under light at a angle and really not that noticeable unless you go looking for them.

Hang on, I don't think anyone has asked this question or indeed answered it..........don't all Eureka steelbooks have plain backs?

I do hope someone can answer this for me as I'm sure it hasn't been asked before

Enemy Mine has back art , not sure which thread or post but I've seen it being discussed with pics of other releases.

Based on the update from Scanavo to the query sent the other day about the condition of the backs of many copies of this steelbook it appears that the problem has not been reported:-

Hi Nicholas,
Happy New Year to you.
I have checked with our production team – we have not received any complaints concerning scratches on Eureka’s Fright Night release, so I really cannot say anything on the extent of the complaints you found on the forums.
I can ensure you that we do certainly have a quality control during production of all SteelBook® being produced.
Have a lovely day.
Best regards,

. . . possibly leading to the conclusion that:-
(a) No reprint is forthcoming
(b) Remaining stock to be allocated as replacements and swallowed up

Scanavo don't seem in tune with customers and quality control then, not on this release anyway. A pity they don't have direct competition, we know what happened anyway to the attempt of competition. Maybe Eureka have not let them know how the quality control is off.

Come Brexit there may well be competition but that is some way offf yet.

On another note, my copy was in good condition and come tomorrow I'll be chucking out the DVD and adding the BD for Fright Night Part 2, can't wait to see it again, it must be around 20 years since I last saw it.

Yes, certainly faults occurred during the manufacturing process before the j-card was attached or during the attachment and I'm surprised so many with issues slipped through Quality Control..
Damages obviously nothing to do with Eureka / Zavvi but as the customer's contracts are with Zavvi - as a Zavvi exclusive steelbook - it's up to Zavvi (or Eureka) to provide all the replacements or refunds if replacement stock is exhausted.
Personally speaking I wouldn't object to a JACK REACHER style replacement programme - in this case a total reprint of 2,000.
