Since the postage costs were high I decided to place a big order. Turns out most of the Steelbooks I ordered were not in stock, but obtainable. In the end they couldn't get them and would not refund my money. They insisted I had to order other items.
Everything I wanted from them was in the order I placed, so it was a struggle to come up with alternate items. Since I didn't have much of a choice I picked some other Steelbooks, but they were about 10 Euros more.
There were major communication problems with their customer service person as I asked about paying the extra 10 Euros. They kept telling me to place a new order. However, when I did it was charging me full price. I went back and forth with them over email about this, but they never really answered my questions. It took days for them to respond sometimes and the responses were useless.
So, I decided to adjust the order again by picking another Steelbook and made it so it came out to the same amount. They agreed. But a week later they email me again telling me that Steelbook is out of stock and I need to pick something else. So, I pick something else that I didn't really want to be done with this ordeal. Turns out it was 5 Euros less, so I asked them for a refund of the difference. There was no response to that of course.
Fast forward about two weeks later and I get my Steelbooks in the mail. Majority of them had torn shrinkwrap. Some had shrinkwrap purposely cut to remove price tags. Also, the package was shipped in an Amazon.de box. I figure they ordered the Steelbooks from Amazon.de Marketplace and then sent to me after cutting around any stickers. Not only did I get some Steelbooks I didn't really want in the first place, they were in poor condition.
Sorry for the long rant, but Mediaquelle makes me fuming mad. I just wish I had never ordered from them in the first place.
I like the look of the steelbook but Im not ordering it because Im keeping far away from www.mediaquelle.at.
