 :oohyeah:

Thats awesome, thanks choi for the great news

does seem odd that with Disney's biggest hit (possibily ever? depending on how you view it) that they negated any options for the home/physical release for their native country
Weirder still, is that the UK are getting the 3D version when usually the UK lose out on formats/extras when compared to the US counterpart.

I do agree that the Kimichi versions, both 1/4 and full slips, seem to be the one's to get for this movie :)

Yeah, Disney is slipping on the ice by not cashing out on this coveted collectible commodity worldwide! I would have released every packaging/optical disc based media edition that you could think of including a Winter Olympics Edition! :hilarious:

I'm surprised too! I thought a movie like Frozen... FS or BB would have a steelbook for this or a better bonus than that chronicle book.

I mean come on! It's Frozen. It won Oscar. It's extremely popular and everyone loves it (most)... lots of fans.. it's basically free money and they won't take it.

Well, Thank God for the ability to import, HDN for being the Guidebook to the Steelbook Galaxy, and Tony & KimchiDVD Staff for answering the call that others failed to hear!

With the selected Lenticular slipcover and extra goodies, this set is going to be amazing. However, I just got the US version and besides the great movie, it is rather slim on the bonus features (and also pretty obnoxious with a Making of farce feature). This makes me think that Disney Media is still compiling a much more comprehensive set of features for a later set. Studios usually start on putting together features after a film has its Box Office run but Frozen has had such a long run, I don't think Disney was ready to let the momentum go. I'm sure they're putting together a set together with everything from a 3D version, Sing-Along Version, Picture in Picture Commentary, Overflowing extras, Reaction around the world, awards shows and other pop culture perspectives. Plus, cashing in for a Holiday release. Anyway, all this to say that I'll be inserting that edition into this Steelbook as the Definitive Set.

Would love more extras, but sadly, theire new releases never come anywhere near the likes of BATB for content :(

I can't see what the problem is with a $2 GB fee, without this forum many people here wouldn't have got a copy of this release anyway and would now be complaining of all the scalpers on a certain auction website. Every member of HDN had 3 chances to get this steel and that has to be good.

At the end of the day $2 is nothing compared to to what we ALL get from this forum and I for one am extremely grateful for that.

I have no problem paying extra to ensure this community gets benefits such as this.

Many thanks again to Tony, Choi and all the staff here for making it happen, long may it continue.

Awesome news! Excited to see the final product! Thanks Tony & Choi for being accomodating to our suggestions, & to HDN for hosting GB for this one. :scat:

Would have preferred A, but can understand why C won. Just glad B wasn't chosen :)

Agreed.

FINAL REQUESTING LIST FOR FROZEN 1/4 SLIP is NOW POSTED in the 1/4 slip GB.

Pending verification in the Kimchi system (make sure to get your account created if you haven't already!), and payment to Choi, I think we're on our way!

I've also added a 5 spot reserve list. If a member doesn't pay or something else goes wrong, these members get first dibs on an open spot.

We're working on the lenticular slip list as we speak.

Thanks to mllNY for compiling this list of 300 names and removing the duplicate requests! :D

And also thanks to Naughtius Maximus for opening these GB threads on the wave #2 go live time! :scat:

If you are on the updated lists in the GB´s you should be safe, it will just take a while for Choi to go through his pm´s. :)
