Maybe the extra $4 is for a gift Disney will be sending to kimchidvd to go along with the steelbook. Not just the normal gift of the clear slip, something licensed by disney.

Hopefully, if it's someone on here, they will get tracked down and their orders will be cancelled.
hope so.
It sucks when I know of a few genuine collectors still crossing their fingers in hopes of getting a copy of either version, then to see some greedy feck like that selling TWO copies on ebay :(

Hmm, I am surprised at how cheap these are TBH. Numbered to only 300 & 700 and knowing people will pay 100's on Ebay and they still keep it below $50? Pfft, I will take all I can get my hands on....
I wouldnt call them cheap - £37 for a steelbook is pricey, BUT for the exclusivity, and extras, PLUS the fact its coming from the other side of the planet, its certainly a fair price.

So your not considering the Lenti slipcover exclusive art?
I do. Its why I've started collecting kimichi's - for the alternate artwork option.

Choi is classy. He's the best liaison between a steelbook retailer and collectors in this entire game. Im not even entirely clear on what role Choi plays in this whole operation with KDVD, but I do know that I appreciate all his hard work, diligence, dedication, patience, insight, and professionalism. And that ain't no joke.

here, here, well said!!

Choi for Steelbook Mayor!!! lol

Being classy and staying classy are two different things ;). You can only stay so when you already are.

To be honest, I think Choi might have seemed snappy because he has a lot on his plate. He has put so much effort into the execution of this release, so when it seems like someone does not appreciate that work (not referring to you in particular)- it might have rubbed him the wrong way. What I can say to this regard, like most of the staff here at HDN, Choi is a very selfless member. He has repeatedly stated that he does not work for Kimchidvd, though as many can attest he spends countless hours on this forum helping HDN members get their hands on these amazing products. You also have to remember that Choi's first language is not English, so it may be harder for him to interpret other member's remarks- not mentioning the trouble some of us native English speakers have depicting the tone of certain comments. As @jimmyv eloquently put it- Choi is an incredible asset to this forum. I am certain that most if not all of us would not own any Kimchi exclusives if it were not for this man. As he does not get paid for his services the least we can do, is show our appreciation- and for this I take of my hat and thank you

With all the craziness to get this I can't believe there's still people complaining about paypal fees or the artwork.

Unbelievable!

Choi gave us all the information prior to the pre order and we accept all the conditions.

Sorry, but some people who call themselves "collectors" are in this just for the hype of the movie, not for the right reasons.

Hey guys-lets keep things positive here, and remember that it is exclusivity and uniqueness that most die hard Steelbook fans (or for that matter, fans of limited eds) desire. Kimchi, and a few other retailers are listening, and are on the right track, I think. I am very appreciative of Choi's efforts, and everyone else behind the scenes making these gears grind. It is not easy to buck trends, so any company that is trying their best should get some accolades. At some point the final decisions must rest with the studio and retailer-we've had a lot of input here. Well done, Kimchi & Choi!

well said, both of you.

I'd rather we annoy Choi by endlessly thanking him than being negative, if anything. His information/pictures etc regarding kimichi releases were invaluable enough, and the effort he's put in with Frozen is well above an beyond what any of us could have expected or even wished for.

Whats that saying, if you cant say anything nice to someone, dont say anything at all....?

If you think $30!is too expensive your going to miss out on a very large amount of future grails. I said the word grail. There are many being released right now. You just need to have deep pockets if you want every one of them. Collecting steelbooks is an extremely expensive hobby. If you want it to be cheap then I say take a dip in majority of titles being pumped out in Europe and UK as those will never reach grail status.

Whats that saying, if you cant say anything nice to someone, dont say anything at all....?

Sorry, I didn't realize we were in North-Korea.

I also don't see this being applicable as no one is being hateful. It's called positive and negative feedback.

You should respect anyone's opinion, even when you don't agree.

Can the character artcard be the original artwork that Zavvi originally wanted to use? PLEASE!

I'm talking about this image:

10883259-1386606642-732977.jpg

I and Tony just pushed disney to put more extra like poster card as pic above because price was 44.99$, Tony feel sorry to raise the price. but Dinseny pushed to raise the price to differentiate kr regular release.

I'm 100% sure that someone want to collect WWA with more desirable packaging, Kimchi will continue this kind of release.

Captain America 2 is also coming soon.

"Thank You Tony, Choi, KimchiDVD, and Hi-DefNinja.com!"

Thank You Choi for everything that you do to help those that love blu-ray steelbooks and helping Tony put out releases that are in such demand by those that want quality and a true collectible, and don't mind paying more for quality.

I think you need to take your own advice
Everyone has an opinion and I was just stating mine, much like you continue to do above.

Though maybe you want to consider how you word your posts as you did come across as very ungrateful initially, and your comment about 'North Korea' makes you sound immature. (I don't know you from Adam so am not saying you ARE by any means.)

Captain America 2 by Kimchi :emb:mg:

Has this been confirmed?

I missed out on this by seconds and was screaming at my laptop-not Kimchi, i'm sure I will be buying other Kimchi exclusives (Leon was-frankly-outstanding!) and will be dipping into the group buys for future films. At the end of the day we all have to remember that this is now a global collectors market not just a few people buying from their favourite website...
