had this on preorder even though ive never seen the film, just wanted it to add to my Disney collection. Loved the mockup artwork. Still liking this new artwork, but would have preferred the title to be on it somewhere.

With the announcement that Disney are only making the US 3d version available through Walmart has this become more desirable having 3d included?

It will certainly be joining my collection

I just politely pointed out how this trend has got to stop, I could get past Thor 2 but not this. I even posted a link to this forum.

I think this is a better-looking Steel than Thor 2. At least both the back and the front looks good. Thor 2 only has a good front cover. The back is a disaster. The rest are similar between both Steels (no title on the front or the spine).

I hate to say this, and I'm not trying to be arguementative, but I really like it! If all steelbooks had titles down the spine or crap written all over the front to distract you from the picture, then the world of steelbooks would be a boring place. I think it's good once in a while to shake things up. I myself like the fact that there's not loads of stuff written on the front, even the title and no 3d logo. I like it.

Oh I know this is better then Thor 2 but I meant I could get past one title-less steelbook but not one in a collection where other steelbooks before it haven't had the same design. Iron Man 3 comes to mind

I think this is alright. Not the best but not the worst. I wont spend blufans/kimchi price unless its the only steelbook of a film or 100x's better than the other options available. I wont be purchasing an asian steelbook for this while this is available.

I love it when they don't put the title on a steelbook. It makes it feel like it is more about the art, which is why I love steelbooks. It implies an insider knowledge. Like "The cool kids know what this is. They don't need to have it spelled out for them." I guess I'm in the minority there.

All that being said, I am pretty surprised that Disney is leaving the names off of this. They love to plaster their own name, if nothing else, all over everything.

Nope, I'm exactly the same. They often look better in my opinion without the title on the front.

Maybe it's just me but I really couldn't give a rats ass about the spine. The characters tell you what steel it is. As long as the general artwork is good the spine is utterly irrelevant to me

The front and back artwork on this is really cute and well done, so what if they don't put the title on the spine. Still each to their own I guess!
