As is common practice with new Disney steelbooks.

Basically it seems that any new titles they release for the UK market are also available in other European (and further afield) countries. To save money, Disney just do one design for these markets with any language variants solved by different J-cards.

Thor: The Dark World was the same, solving the Thor: The Dark Kingdom issue in Germany among other variances, as well as [The] Avengers [Assemble]. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Captain America: The Winter Soldier suffers the same fate.

At least the other Zavvi Disney exclusives are just that (by and large) so get the title on the front and spine. I just hope it stays that way.

If thats the case then they should release them normally on their site but don't count them as part of the Disney collection....then in a years time or when they get through all their Disney Films, re-release it with a new cover in line with the others as part of the Disney Collection

That would make more sense....they would still get their money either way.

I actually think this steel looks pretty nice! I wish it had the movie title on the spine, but oh well...

Those pics a few posts back are awesome, by the way. Thanks!

Wow it looks good cant wait for mine to arrive, amazing is this the first Disney steelbook that it doesn't have that annoying border on the front?

What is the obsession with writing on steelbooks?

I don't mind if there's no title on the front, but I think there should always be the title on the spine. Or some pictures like in the Avengers steelbook, but never leave it empty like in this one. Like Hayemaker said, it looks unfinished.

I would have like the Title on the Spine but complaining now is pointless as we all have known for months there would be no title on the spine or on the front
If we had not known I could understand or if we were led to believe it would have a title on the spine then see it did not I could understand a complaint

Disney have used the same Steelbook artwork and same finish worldwide
Only exception is the to be planned Blufans release

Its the same steelbook everywhere (except planned Blufans Release)with the only difference been some jcards are different in each country
Kimchidvd Exclusive also is the same steelbook but has extras goodies
Packaging Type:
- Metallic shine 1/4 slip and embossed title. 300 print run
- Full size lenticular with amazing effect : 700 print run

Doesn't it have the picture of the snowman on the spine? My daughter can pick it out with no problems and she's 3.

Finished product doesn't look ridiculous at all

They've left a gap for the title and not filled it in, so it does look ridiculous. The spine may well have pictures but picking a film off the shelf should not turn into a game of pictionary.

Yes it's obvious for us to identify the film, but it defeats the object of collecting in my opinion. My mother wouldn't know what the film was without looking at the disc! ;)

Seems flat-out lazy, all my other Disney steelbooks have the titles on them and recently Disney changed j-cards which take up a quarter of the spine, it seems they're trying to make this set as inconsistent as possible. I don't think I'm asking for too much. I hate to moan all the time, but one would think those debunking the negativity of the simplicity of adding a title on the spine work for Zavvi!

Got this today and I'm very happy with it. My only change would be the spine and to put a title on it. Not a massive fan of no title on a spine. I can handle no title on the front as long as it's on the spine. Saying that I like it on the man with the iron fists for some reason but this and monsters uni should match the rest of the collection IMO. I think the front, back and inside are amazing
