Where did you have this info from? I read the review at BD and extras were all in HD and same as the European disc.

Exactly. Give me the best possible AQ/PQ. After that, I don't care if they put the extras on a VHS.

I have owned both discs. You can check the specs at AVS Forum.

Regarding best possble PQ, the law of diminishing returns should also be taken into account. The International release was encoded at a healthy 24 Mbps when compared to the US release which I think was encoded 29~30 Mpbs. We are not comparing Warner Vs. Paramount here.

Yup. But there is no other G.I. Joe: Retaliation 3D except this SteelBook on the Walmart site and it could simply be the same as the nationwide release. Or it could be an exclusive

We will just have to wait and find out

Yeah. Major let down. It's not even embossed like we were led to believe. How is this a premium Steelbook? I'll settle for the European version now. At least that doesn't have the '3D' emblazoned on the cover.
