Just thought it would be interesting to hear people's thoughts on these. I didnt throw in Jumbo's as those seem to be getting more love now-a-days what with people making converts etc.

If your favorite movie didn't get a g2, and it was going to be one of these... which would you prefer?

G1...although I do have Source Code in the shelf...at least the G1 I can put together with the Games steelbooks...

Stickerbook > G1.

The artwork can still look great, and they are the same size as most other Blu-Ray's, compared to the DVD case size of G2's.

I could make a stickerbook myself with some glossy paper and some glue, utterly pointless little creations. Scanavo shouldn't even offer them, it cheapens their whole image. Don't mind G1, but G2 is a lot better.

hmmmm...G1 with full printed artwork over G2 stickerbook....

in the end, I'm buying a steelbook with beautiful artwork printed...that's my main goal.

However, a steelbook with no printed artwork inside is just the same as a stickerbook. I would never pay premium or go out of my way for any steelbook with no printed artwork...that's just another half of a stickerbook as well LOL.

I'm going to help them develop a G3 for the next generation. I'm going to design it with glasss surrounding and a picture inside the glass...like a collecting card..and then on the back..there will be code where you can download the movie.... :scat:

i prefer G3 Wasssuuupp :hilarious:

While my preference is G1, I have no problem with stickerbooks. G1 have a tendancy to be embossed/debossed quite often.

Why can't I vote using tapatalk? I can't see any polls.:(

G1 for sure.. I have a about 12 or so G1's and their great, bigger space for pretty artwork. I really don't get why people are so anal about size difference on the shelf, its not that big of a deal.

As for stickerbooks.. I have never owned one.. but they sound horrid.

Stickerbook! I keep them sealed anyway so I couldn't really tell. I only have Source Code and Inglourous Basterds (FR), but G1 just doesn't work for me AT ALL.
I sold all my DVD steels years ago and only kept Donnie Darko and Donnie Darko/Southland Tales - but only until a BluRay Steelbook comes along for either....

stickerbook is very cheat. take G1

Neither for me sorry, if I were still collecting DVDs I would take G1 over any G1/G2 stickerbook but thanks god I'm not anymore.

Depends on wether we're talking about a G1 Jumbo and a G2 Sticker, or a G1 Jumbo Sticker and a G2 Sticker, or a G1 Sticker and a G2 Jumbo Sticker, etc....

G1 beats sticker anytime.
even though i don't have stickerbook, but i'll choose G1, and i have 1, godfather dvd :p
eventually, stickers wore out, doesn't it?
