not sure why they would release anything other than new covers. I know why the rereleases won, because people missed out. I doubt BB will miss out on sales, but it's truly disappointing for those that have all the previous covers.

Well the votes are counted. That's why its really important to vote.

According to the GOT Facebook page CDON.com are also releasing "one of the winning Game of Thrones Season 3 Exclusive Packaging box sets in the Nordics!"

I'm not sure if this will be exactly the same as the Best Buy release, but that seems likely.

The Facebook vote is now over, with litle change over the last week or so. The Stark/Targaryen/Lannister re-release won with 11k votes, Tyrell/Stannis/Tully came second with 5.3k votes and the face designs were third with 3.8k votes.

I'm not as disappointed as most as I passed on the Targaryen cover for the Stark cover in Season 1. My thinking at the time was that Stark represented Season 1 and that Targaryen would better fit a later season. I also somewhat figured that they'd re-use some of the houses as there aren't 14 major houses to fit the 7 projected seasons (with 2 per year). that said, it starts to get murky for future seasons where I hope new houses come out. A reasonable compromise would have been to release one older house with a new fresh house. That way everyone wins.
