Completed Game Of Thrones (Season 8) [HBO]

Seen the first 5 episodes now and must admit it is growing on me. The characters and character development is really great. Not that much action so far but I have a feeling that will change.

Anyone have some views on this series?

episode 5 was great in terms of directing and the visuals. the fight between The Hound and The Mountain was awesome.

but I agree,

the float scene was ridiculous. in episode 4 they fired 3 scorpions and all hit and killed the dragon and in episode 5 they have much more scorpions and no hit, wtf?

this season could be so epic, but they failed. what I dont like so far:
- just 6 episodes, they should do 13 episodes or do 6 that are 2h long
- the battle against the Night King and his army should be 2 episodes long
- Bran to Daenerys: the Night King killed you Dragon ...no reaction. in episode 4 they killed another Dragon and she's on rampage.
- Cersei's death ...she deserved a more brutal and gruesomely death

As usual I'm late to the party of most of these shows Been watching a few of these, but really need to invest more time in this. Sounds like I'm in for some ride on it tho

I found it very hit and miss until this last 2 seasons - 8 has me hooked each week(first since season two where I lasted 3 weeks) that I've done episodes weekly

I gave it a second change and binge-watched it all about a month ago
