Seen the first 5 episodes now and must admit it is growing on me. The characters and character development is really great. Not that much action so far but I have a feeling that will change.

I usually read spoilers as well, but this show and Dexter are the only ones I like not knowing what will happen. So by the end of last night's episode I was like WTF

So, yesterday...my wife starts talking about Game of Thrones...

Wife: "Hey, have you watched E9 yet?"
Me: "Naw, i'll do it tomorrow morning, i'm in no rush.".
Wife: "Well, the internet is on fire over a whole bunch of people being killed off."
Me: "Oh. I remember people were upset about Ned Stark. I wonder who they could kill off that would be worse?"
Wife: "I don't know, i didn't read into it. Just don't tell me, because i'm only halfway through the 2nd book."
Me: "All right."
Me: "I wasn't all that shocked, seeing Ned Star lose his head. After all, the writer of these books has been criticized for killing off "main characters". I'm sure i won't be too surprised when i find out who gets it in this episode."
Wife: "Yeah...well, we'll have to wait and see."

Fast forward to this morning....right at the beginning of the end of E9...

Me: (As i grab the top of my head with both hands...) "HOLY F*&@#$& S&@@* WHAT THE F&*($#& OH MY F*(&#@$& GOD.....THEM!? OF ALL PEOPLE....THEM!? WOOOOOOW....."

Now that i have come to my senses, i have to say...these people make some damn fine television. It has been years, since i had a genuinely vocal / animated reaction to something in a show or film. I am so glad i don't read...for the impact would have been so much less.

Yeah, more dragons wouldn't hurt. I want to hear them named, too. Though, if the next episode is similar to season 2's finale, we should be getting as much dragon screen-time as the rest of the season put together.
