This is certainly a much better price, but I still feel like it's a little steep. Hoping for a release week sale. $34.99-39.99 would be ideal

So it will stand out above the surface of the steelbook? Not sure how I feel about that.
Yeah it's an unecessary gimmick that's surely adding to the cost and that'll likely end up lamer than expected, just like regular lenti magnets on steels. Until they can/will deboss deep enough to achieve the desired effect, it's a silly steelbook feature that I'm simply not interested in.

I doubt it will be. The regular season sets rarely go for much less than that still. $50 is pretty reasonable pound for pound for the amount of entertainment you are getting IMHO.
That said I won't complain if they want to sell them to me for less.

The price might come down around the holidays. I got my regular seasons for about $35 each during that time.
The steelbook looks good, but I probably won't buy the series again unless the price comes down a lot.
