Yeah I suppose it all depends on what re re re re re re re releases they choose to do next with this style (I say that with pure sarcasm too). I honestly like the Titan slip and pin but also the over use of the helmet does my nut in, the same for most of us. Steel isn’t doing it for me at all but it could go either way in hand and possibly look decent. But again the f**king helmet on the back is so god damn annoying. Which they haven’t shown yet, but then why would they? It’s on every f**king thing else. Also As you previously mentioned, I too wouldn’t want to display this steel so the stand is pretty pointless too and it don’t help it has the film title on it. But I’d also love to own this film in 4K because like many of us I love it. But yeah fomo will certainly kick in for a lot of collectors I suppose. The slip is certainly a step up from the PET box. I think the whole PET thing only works with slips anyway. Not boxes. They are too flimsy for all that and the top openings are aggy to deal with once opened. And if you have one where the bottom part is starting to open then it’s just as annoying to close up.

If this was around £35-£40 (for the Titan slip) I would of considered it. Also when the other countries start to open up pre orders this will be back for the U.K. market where it’s sold out from. I still want to see how it all looks in hand with photos and video. Never know it could sway me and you can save a fiver with a code. But I’m not holding my breath and fomo won’t kick in for me with it.

I reckon the buzz will 100% die after 2 or 3 releases with the £100 editions. Look at what you get with the EB editions for the same price.... the difference is crazy. Honestly, the metal poster is the worst idea with this whole thing. One of the worst ideas I’ve seen in a while. Yeah great art, but it’s not practical at all. I don’t think it will last. Either that or they’ll only have only a few releases each year going forward.
Yeah, using the helmet multiple times feels very lazy and boring... ok, it's iconic, but there's so many other cool things from the film they also could've used, such as the shield. Seeing the EB edition of Gladiator only makes this feel like more of a rip-off, as you said.

They've clearly not considered the practicality of the extras either, which will hurt them in the long run IMO. The engraved stands, as I already mentioned. But then I don't have the wall space for even one of their metal posters, let alone an entire collection of them, so are we supposed to be willing to spend £100 just to keep it in the box? Hell, they may as well as used the helmet once more and given us a lifesize replica, at least that will have been worth the extra cash lol.

Lol technically, yes. But that's my point... no one is going to have any use for every single one, so I can see them struggling to shift future Supreme editions once the excitement for FOMO-collectors wears off.

well, you dont have to frame every single one of them at once.. due to the magnetic mounting you can change them as you please

I don't think they're meant to be framed are they? I assumed they were like Displates, which I have a couple of (and funnily enough don't have the wall space for lol)

I find it strange that even with TOC stating and making it a selling point in their product promo and listings, that they haven't mentioned anything about what the limited edition number is for the Supreme edition etched steelbook. Can't trust a company that hides that info prior to release.

Can someone find this out?

Is there a number known for the Titan version?

If they are unwilling to tell us the number then im canning my order. Sorry I want to know how limited this is.

Don't expect anything for the Titan to be revealed, it wasn't stated as limited, but the Supreme version is, but no information on that...feels like they just wanna see what orders they get and adjust accordingly after..
not great for something supposed to be limited.

They will let us know how limited it is after they find out how many pre-orders they have.

Remember this was the case when ToC first hit the scene with their previous editions though, then folks soon got fed up of the lacklustre designs, extras and poor film choices... oh, and not to mention the small but unnecessary price increase. I only expect the same will happen again, since £50/£100 is a lot to fork out each time. I reckon the buzz of these being something new on the market gives a lot of collectors FOMO, but that'll probably eventually wear off.
Yeah, I agree, this is just repeating the Blade Runner situation, which was also a first and sold out initially.

That's a really good idea. Mount once in one place, and switch them...

How many are they releasing? How limited is it?
ToC actually never stated that for any of their 19 previous releases.
It sucks and it's shady, and it's one of the reasons people hate them.

This already came back up on zavvi for a while after initially selling out. Like I said; sell out-make some more. Rinse and repeat only it’s us getting rinsed this time. I like this but dont think im going down Titan road again. Space jam was the final straw for me. I always wanted the pins to be actual items ie casino chip in metal, not a pin. Things like the EB Gladiator coin or like an actual domino replica from V for Vendetta would have been awesome in that mini steel. An actual key in the Ready player one and so on. I really wish them good luck with their new launch anyway. Just not for me because I don’t need it enough.
