As Gladiator is one of my favourite movies of all time I decided to purchase a cheap U.S. Steelbook. I'll put the disks in my empty HDZ Steelbook and utilise the back panel for my gorgeous German Steelbook.
I already have a spare set of art cards from the UK release and a spare book. Basically my Empty will end up being my Ultimate edition, minus the slipcase.

Good idea. I have the rare Dutch Steelbook with the gold banner and just need to replace the back plate. What are you planning to do with the interior artwork?

got my Tripack today together with the heavily dented empty Steelbook. What makes me really angry is that there was zero protection inside my package. No Bubblewrap, foam or anything else. Sorry HDzeta but this SUCKS big time from you !!! i pay so much money and wait for months for it to arrive and my item is damaged cause you didnt care about protection.

Did your Tripack arrive damaged, too? My Tripack was protected very well in bubble wrap, but unfortunately one edge is scuffed. It is a pity, because I bought the set especially for the Tripack box. Moreover, there is something loose inside the box (rattling noises when shaking it). Is this normal? My empty steelbook is not dented, but unfortunately the back is heavily scratched. Apart from these little disappointments the box and steel are looking great.

yes Tripack damaged too. big scratch all over one side and shinkwrap ripped apart, one edge is also scuffed. I always use a hairdryer on it for a few seconds to heat up the sticker. If your opening the shrink wrap use the heat on the backside of the sticker, hold the sticker keeping it straight and peel the plastic off the sticker.That way there's not really any pressure on the sticker. Works every time for me.
