If it was only a sample copy then its not a major problem

If all the steelbooks have already been produced without showing a RIDLEY SCOTT film then we can expect a problem and long delay

What will happen
1)They get the ok for not having a RIDLEY SCOTT film on the steelbook and no delays
2)They have to go back to production and re do all the steelbooks that will cause a long delay

Was the original information given to Scanavo show it must have on the steelbook a RIDLEY SCOTT film
If that is yes then its Scanavo who would have to re do the production at their expense and not cost HDzeta anything extra

If HDzeta did not provide Scanavo with information that it was meant to have on the steelbook a RIDLEY SCOTT film then its not Scanavo fault and cost of re production would be with HDzeta

In my Opinion
I think the best solution is for all parties to agree to its ok for not having a RIDLEY SCOTT film on the steelbook and this will mean no extra expense and no delay to shipping

I reckon a good solution would be to include a sticker, might work if everyone can agree. Just chucking an idea out there.

I don't think it is the best solution. The best solution is to correct the error, otherwise it sets a precedent for the future. It is likely a contractual thing anyway as it seems to appear on the majority of Blu-ray releases, along with 'Russell Crowe' and the Academy Awards text, which is why HDzeta couldn't get the latter removed despite the complaints.

If the fault lies with HDzeta and not with Scanavo then will HDzeta take the hit on re production costs to fix the mistake
If its Scanavo fault then HDzeta will just make Scanavo do a new batch and not cost HDzeta anything as it would not be their mistake

I agree It is most likely a contractual thing for Director and Main Star name be on the product as it has been the case with all previous RIDLEY SCOTTs Blu ray releases

Us collectors will just want our steekbook but if the fault lies with HDzeta will they take the hit on re production costs as they are not like other retailers who have lots of other releases to make up for any losses

If the Photos was just a sample steelbook and the main production had not been started then its not a major problem and can be easily fixed to be correct and should not cause to much of a delay

Can't believe that every major exclusive steelbook retailer is having quality issues together....Blufans, Nova, Kimchi, now HDZeta too!! Only Zavvi seems to be turning them out before time!!!

When Zavvi has a quality control issue, they don't care. Besides that Zavvi produces way more steelbooks with identical finishes. They can easily produce so many disney steels of the same quality at once because all it would require at the factory is different ink and switching out the plates that stamp in the embossing.

Zavvi don't make any steelbooks the film studios do and give them an exclusive or its available as a general release to all retailers

Its Scanavo who make the steelbooks its them who have the inks and equipment and produce the steelbooks for the film studios and small independent distributors

HDzeta with approval from the film studio provide artwork and finish required to Scanavo to produce the steelbook
