Awww crap... I paid using the gift option myself as I was aware I had to pay the fees. Now I realise the fees were included and I could have paid using the goods/services way.

Plus, newkid mentioned that he cannot accept personal payments anymore (paypal rules) so does this mean he won't be able to accept my payment and send me a message to start over and pay for goods/services?

So does that mean you paid Paypal fees twice then?

I think I'll have to e-mail newk1d directly to see what exactly he wants. It's all rather confusing and it shouldn't be.....

But according to @Apollon it should be simple and common sense should fill in the holes. Do you mean to say that it's not straight forward and questions need to be asked to confirm our money is being sent correctly?

I've found the process very straight forward and this is my 2nd group buy involvement.

Find out who you need to pay and what currency, you normally get a PM with specifics... let paypal sort out the currency and make sure you send it to the correct person.

I didn't realize I had to pay IN Singapore dollars. I've never done this before so I just did the conversion, added the extra PayPal fees and paid in USD like normal. So now what happens? Does my payment not go through if I paid in USD instead of SGD?
